Should Trailer Wiring Harness for 2024 Hyundai Palisade Cause Running Lights to Stop Working
Updated 08/07/2024 | Published 08/05/2024 >
Question:
My rear running light went out on my new 5k miles palisade 2 weeks after installing e trailer trailer wiring kit. is there any way your kit could have caused this failure before I take it to dealer. Brake and turn signal work fine . Passenger side works fine, just driver running light.

Hey Mike, it really shouldn't since the harness only uses the light circuits of the taillights as signal wires and draws power from the battery. If it was the harness I would have assumed the problem would have happened immediately. Did you check the fuses for this circuit in the fuse box.

Thanks for answer it’s what I figured looked at in daylight again and found pinched wire on ground lug so all good ,more guidance on ground lug placement would be helpful. Thanks again for reply
