Question:

I ordered the items you recommended (C13309 and 118273) and have installed them. Can you provide instructions on how to mount the 7 way connector? Some of the videos mention a mounting bracket but I did not receive a mounting bracket.

The trailer hitch I highly recommend for your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is the Curt # C13309 because it has a concealed crosstube and is a bolt-on installation that will not require drilling into your vehicle's frame to install.

This Class III, 2" trailer hitch is almost entirely hidden behind your bumper, has a black powder coat finish to protect it from corrosion and also has a 6,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity. The Curt # C13309 is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty. I have added a link to the installation instructions for you to check out as well.

For a wiring harness on your '17 Pathfinder it sounds like you have the factory tow package so for that you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118273 which installs easily by plugging into your Nissan's OEM tow package wiring harness. I have attached a link to a video of this connector being installed in a Pathfinder for you to check out.

I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.

I'm glad everything you got everything worked out and if you are looking to permanently mount the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118273 what you can do is use the Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58000. It will simply slide over your receiver and give you a mount for the connector. If you take a look at the linked install video you can see how easy this bracket is to mount and exactly how to do it.
