  • Recommended 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Compatible with Factory Harness
For your 2002 Ford F-250, the wiring harness you are seeking with both 7-way and 4-way connectors is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774 or the Reese # 74682. Either of these will connect to your factory wiring harness to give you both of the trailer connectors you seek.

  • Location of Factory Wiring Connector for 2021 Ford Explorer Limited
Hello Ken; what wiring harness are you trying to install? Do you have the factory tow package on your 2021 Ford Explorer? If you don't have the factory tow package there won't be a wiring connector at the rear of the vehicle. If you have the factory tow package there will be a plug behind the bumper that attaches to the # HM40975. If you do not have the factory tow package you need to install the Curt 4-way # C56093 which plugs into the connection points in the rear cargo area as seen...

  • Parts Needed To Add Hopkins 7/4 Pole Connector To a 2020 Ford F-150 With Factory 4-Way
I have a couple ways you can install the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 on your 2020 Ford F-150 with a 4-way flat factory connector. The first is going to be the easiest but is more costly. You will use the harness from the Curt 7-Way # C56413 and connect to the connector you found. The Curt harness will connect to the factory wiring as seen in the installation video I have linked near the bottom of the page. Otherwise we do have the Hard Wire Connector # 20147 which...

  • Troubleshooting Danger Notification and No LED Light on Curt Echo Brake Controller
Sine the LED does not light up on your Curt Echo # C51180, that means there's no power getting through to it. Given the fact that the Echo was receiving power and working properly at one point, chances are you're dealing with a poor ground issue. I would start by checking the power and ground circuits on your Ram's trailer wiring. These will be on the 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions, as shown in the attached diagram. You can use a 12V probe-style circuit tester, like # PTW2991 to check...

If it is just bare wires with no plug, you will need to hard wire one in. • 7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Recommendation for 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan with Blue Connector
The connector you found on your 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan is great news. That is a standard 7-way connector plug which means to install trailer wiring all you'd need is the # HM40975 which plug connect right to that and give you both a 4-way and a 7-way. This install is just a matter of plugging the connector in and does not require any additional wiring.

The best way to add a plug-and-play style 4-Way/7-Way connector to your 2023 Honda Passport is with the following parts: - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU86FR - 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 - No-Drill Mount Bracket, Long # 18136 The Curt wiring kit is a plug-and-play style where the only "splicing" you have to do is ground the white wire to a clean bare metal spot on your frame with the included self-tapping screw....

Since the Express Van didn't come with the factory tow package 7-Way you'll want to look for a frame pocket on the driver side rear left corner of the frame for a seven-wire harness with the connector that you should be able to install wiring with a US round connection, like the Hopkins # HM40975, to. The process should actually only take you around 20 to 40 minutes. I have attached an install photo for you as well.
