7 and 4-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Recommendation for 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan

Question:
I recently installed a receiver hitch on my 2015 VW Tiguan. While installing the hitch I noticed what looks like a factory installed trailer wiring harness. I checked on Hopkins website and they indicate this part is compatible with the Toureg, but no mention of the Tiguan. From what I can find online, the factory wiring harness looks the same. Will this work for a 2015 VW Tiguan with a factory trailer wiring harness?
