Question:
I have a 2004 F150 super cab. It has the tow package with a 4pin and a 7pin which both have quit working. What do you have that will replace it. I would like to replace both but would be satisfied with just a working 7pin,

Hey Denzil! I have two possible options for you. If you think it is just your factory connector that's bad you can replace what you have with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975. However, if you want to go this route I would test the wires running into your existing connector and see if they are working. Have you checked the relay/fuses as well? You might not even need a new wiring harness if you find they're bad and swap them out.
If you find that the factory wiring is bad you can bypass it all with the Curt # C59236. Then to upgrade to a 7-way you need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7. This will give you a working 4-way and 7-way independent of your factory trailer wiring. If you have any other questions feel free to reply below.
