Rectangle Backup Trailer Lights for clear reversing

A quick tip: match size to these rectangle housings to replace or add backup lighting on trailers or flatbeds. Check whether your setup needs a grommet, a pigtail, or angled leads for clearance, and note some lights are better in a cutout than fully surface mounted. Make sure your connector has a reverse circuit; 5-, 6-, or 7-way can, while a 4-way does not.
Some rectangle backup lights are designed for a grommet mount in a trailer frame. If you're not using a cutout, choose a true surface-mount style. Check if a rubber grommet and a pigtail are required to secure and power the light. If space is tight behind the light, consider an elbow wiring lead instead of a straight one to help with clearance.
