Round RV Access Doors for clean pass-throughs

Ideal when you already have a round cutout and want a tidy cord or hose pass-through on a camper or trailer. You'll find small openings like 1" or 3/4" for extension cords, plus sizes suited to wet bay and cable hatch replacements—check overall diameter, cutout, and hole pattern. Some designs have non-removable doors; the front ring may be replaceable without redoing the seal.
Yes, they work well as pass-throughs for power cords and water or gas hoses. Look for a waterproof design to help prevent leaks in wet bays and exterior walls. Seal carefully and use the included putty or sealant if provided. For pro-level installs, cut the hole cleanly and deburr before mounting.
Often the door isn't designed to come off by itself. The front-facing assembly can typically detach for replacement without pulling the entire body and resealing. If hinges or latch tabs seem fragile, check before install and close the lid gently to reduce stress on pins and tabs.
Measure the existing door's overall diameter, the cutout hole, and the screw hole pattern. Slight size differences matter for lining up holes and trim. In one install, the access cover diameter was 5" while the hole drilled was 5 1/2", so match both numbers to your rig. If color-matched screws would stand out, reuse your originals.
Available options top out at 2-3/8" deep. Measure your space and verify the depth behind the wall before cutting. If your setup needs more clearance, consider relocating the pass-through or adjusting what's behind the panel to avoid interference.
Look for a hatch with a 1" opening or consider a 3/4" opening if you want a tighter pass-through. Confirm your cord's outer diameter against the opening size. If you need strain relief, leave a bit of clearance so the lid can close without forcing it.
