Can Advent Air RV AC Unit Thermostat Control Furnace

Will the new thermostat control the gas heat? Original system Duo-Therm, model 57915.531 on the 2005 Keystone 285 has a split system ac. 120V and gas heat Also do wire connections plug and play or are splicing of wires required on all connections? Thanks for your help.

Hey Alan, while the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ADV98SR does have ability to control a furnace it can't be used with a Duo Therm setup like you have. It can only work with Advent Air AC units that were made after January 2025.
How old is your Dometic? If older than 2025 only solution would be an all new AC unit like with the # ADV99QR.

I was looking at replacing the existing unit since it is the original unit and not working.
