Deka 12-10 Gauge Nylon Butt Connector

I recently ordered two self adjusting brakes and wire. Through error on my part I ordered the wrong butt connectors. That's okay when I place my next order I will order the correct ones. The brakes were easy to install thanks to all the videos e trailer provides. I will be placing more orders before my 1965 Serro Scotty is completed.

I really like this brake controller, It was easy to install and the light display lets you know how much your brake is working. The only problem I came across was that I had to order a special wire adaptor which they don't tell you when you place your order.

Not a water tight butt connector. Wouldn't use these!
Good quality connector. However recommend using connectors that heat shrink for trailer applications

While we dont have butt connectors designed to be water tight, we do have heat-shrink butt connectors like part # DW05744-5 as well as primary wire heat shrink tubing # DW05451. The heat shrink design is intended to help keep as much water as possible out of the wiring connection.
