Question:

Need an axle My 2008 SeaLion modelnS-14-800 boat trailer needs a new axle with hubs. The original configuration is 1 1/2 inch square galvanized, 61 1/2 inch overall, 56 1/2 inch hub face length, 45 inch spring centers. Hubs are 4 on 4 inch. Do you have anything compatible? Thanks.

We have something extremely close that will work for you. It is the CE Smith Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Standard Spindles - Galvanized - 57-1/2" Long - 1.8K # CE33201GA. It has the hub-face-to-hub-face length of 57-1/2 inches and the spring-center-to-spring-center length of 46-1/2 inches with the overall beam length of 62 inches. The only thing that you will need to change is the spring centers which is just a drilled hole for the square axles. There will be a difference with the hub face length so as long as you have an extra 1/2 inch space with your fenders it won't be an issue.

For your hubs you will use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 4 on 4 - Galvanized # AKIHUB-440-2-G-EZ-2K and to attach your axle you will use the CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 1-1/2" Square Trailer Axles # CE23102.
