The M394FR ramp spring I purchased a year ago has been working great. It was easy to install and out performs the original spring on my 24’ car hauler trailer.
ive installed many ramp doot assemblies. the new brackets are much easier to install by myself. most times i would need a 2nd person. keep up with making things easier and better

Everything worked out great. Installed on a snowmobile trailer. The door originally only had a spring system on the bottom of the door. It took 2 people to close. After installing the M394FR it is a 1 arm operation. Highly recommend this product
We received our door spring and the drums were damaged. I called etrailer and they sent new ones out quickly so we could get our trailer door fixed right away. They were most excellent in customer service :)
After destroying my single door spring I opted for this dual spring setup due to the door always being heavy to raise.
Wow what a difference! 3 turns on each spring and I can easily lift the cargo door with 1 hand (fingers).

Good upgrade
Used to replace original mechanism on a solid wood, 75 year-old garage door in an unconditioned garage. Has held up great. Probably a little over-powered (could have gone for a lighter duty spring), but door weight is ~175lbs. Winding the springs yourself is certainly dangerous, but I felt comfortable doing so after studying some safety materials and how-to videos.
