which way do you wind the springs for adjustment?

The cable for the Conventional Ramp Door Spring # M394FR needs to always come off the bottom of the drum. If it comes over the top, the system is installed backwards.
It should be noted that it is recommended that only individuals who have experience winding torsion springs install this product. If you have not worked with a torsion spring system before, we recommend contacting a local garage door company to install this system.
