  • Enclosed Trailer Ramp Door Spring Assembly Needed For a 125LB Ramp Door
The 120-LB # M354FR is going to likely be a better option with the door weight between 125-130lbs. While the 150-LB # 362SA8207 will work the higher weight will make the door want to raise up off the ground which can be troublesome when trying to load something and the door starts to close itself. Both these kits can be narrowed down to the 88" width you are needing. Be sure to check out our etrailer Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate # e32JR as well. If you install this it will make the...

  • Ramp Spring Recommendation for 2022 Thor Toy Hauler
Are you wanting to do a torsion style spring that fits above the door like most toy haulers? Do you know how wide the door is and about how heavy the door is? Typically an 8 foot wide ramp spring like the part # M354FR is what you'd want as this matches the width of standard toy hauler doors and has a 120 lb lifting capacity.

  • Recommended Conventional Ramp Door Spring with Longer Cable
Jared, the 150" long cables that come with the Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 8' Wide Enclosed Trailer # M354FR are unfortunately the only size offered with that part. What you could do instead, is buy the Replacement Cables for Conventional Ramp Door Spring # M339FR which is 174" and will work with the Ramp Door Spring # M354FR.

  • Choosing the Correct Replacement Ramp Door Spring for a 2001 Horse Trailer
Hey Amy, thanks for reaching out! The Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 8' Wide Enclosed Trailer # M354FR could work out as a replacement spring for your 2001 horse trailer, but we'll need to check the specs with your trailer to see if this fits. This spring is designed for a 60" to 96" wide trailer door and has a 120 lb spring capacity so you'll want your door to weigh a little over that so the door doesn't shut on it's own. If your door has a different width or weight please let me...

  • Ramp Door Spring Assembly For a 8' Ramp Door on Cargo trailer Weighing 90lbs
The Ramp Door Spring # M354FR is our closest setup for your cargo trailer door. This system is rated for a 120lb door so you will be able to add a Transition Plate # e32JR as well to your door which will make loading cargo using a dolly or hand truck much easier.

  • Car Hauler Ramp Spring Options to Help with Heavy Ramp
I don't know how wide your rear door is but we have an 8 foot wide rear door we have the 120 lb kit part # M354FR or for a 7 foot wide option we have the part # ERS120D81. These are for enclosed style trailers. If you have a open trailer with side rails you could instead use the Gorilla Lift part # GL1 to help with the ramp.

  • How to Weigh a Cargo Ramp Door for a Replacement Spring
Your broken spring should be color coded to indict the weight rating of it. It'll be spray painted on the roller or the spring itself. I've listed the colors and their respective weights below; White: 10/110/210 LBS Green: 20/120/220 LBS Yellow: 30/130/230 LBS Blue: 40/140/240 LBS Red: 50/150/250 LBS Brown: 60/160/260 LBS Orange: 70/170/270 LBS Gold: 80/180/280 LBS Light Blue: 90/190/290 LBS Tan: 100/200/300 LBS Or you can use a standard scale like one you'd weigh yourself on....

  • Ramp Spring For Rear Door of 2015 Forest River Vengeance 5th Wheel Toy Hauler
We do offer a ramp spring that would work for you. According to my research, your Forest River Vengeance Toy hauler is about 8-1/2 feet wide, which means that you'd need an 8 foot spring. The exact spring needed would depend on exactly how heavy the door is. We offer a 250 lb spring as part # CB250D96SHD, a 230 lb spring as part #362SA8HD, a 150 lb spring as part # 362SW81 or a 120 lb spring as part # M354FR. Ideally, you'd want to choose a spring with a capacity a bit less than the actual...

  • Recommended Ramp Door Spring For 8 Wide Race Trailer With 200lb Door
I would be happy to help! Since the ramp door on your 8' wide race trailer weighs in roughly 200lbs I recommend the # 362SA8HD which works with ramp doors up to 230lbs so it will offer plenty of assistance to raise your door. Lastly we strongly recommend having the spring installed by a qualified professional as these springs are under a lot of tension and can be very dangerous to those not familiar to how they get installed. I included a video of the # 362SA8HD for you to take a look at.
