Hello Robert, thanks for reaching out. Yes, a Conventional Ramp Door Spring like part # M394FR can work on toy hauler doors and will make it feel a lot lighter than it is now. When wound correctly, the # M394FR spring can lift up to 180 lbs. In order to confirm fit, you'll first need to measure your door end to end. Then, you'll need to find the hinged weight which is calculated by placing a scale on the ground in the center of the landing path of the door edge (no cables attached). If your door is between 81" and 96" wide and weighs between 165 and 185 lbs this will be a great option for you.
if this does not match your door just let me know.

Hey Robert, how did things go with the ramp door spring for your toy hauler? Were the measurements and weight within the range for that dual-spring setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
