Ramp Spring Recommendation for 8 Foot Wide Trailer Ramp

Question:
Hey Jameson I have an 8 foot wide trailer and I have no way to weigh how much the door is and by myself with no spring I can barely pick it up of the ground maybe 2 feet or so. Do you know how big a a spring I should get. I’m thinking of maybe 185 pound one. Thanks, Alex

I would think the 185 lb spring would work best like the part # M394FR that you referenced. 185 lbs would feel really hard to pick up off the ground so I would assume this would be right at the correct capacity to make sure your ramp is easy to pick up.
