  • Recommended Handle Latch Kit for Barn Door on Dump Trailer
For the barn door on your dump trailer, I recommend looking at the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Kit # 383200. This is a nice steel cam-action door latch with a 1 inch wide hasp that can be installed flush on doors with a 3/4 inch offset. It features a bridge-type hasp that will help to prevent accidental opening and secures a safe latching action. This will use a 3/4 inch diameter pipe that you can source from a local hardware store. This will be a simple bolt-on installation. I have...

  • Alarms and Locks to Prevent Theft From Enclosed Cargo Trailer
I am glad you were able to avoid a loss from your cargo trailer by using an alarm system. It sounds like you have (had) a cam style door lock like # 3057-55 and # 305736 on your cargo trailer's rear door. These can be locked with items such as Global Link Vise Lock # 295-000024. If a determined thief has the time and the tools, pretty much any lock can be defeated, but alarms along with multiple locks can make your trailer a less appealing target than another, and sometimes that is the...

  • Recommended Door Locks for Enclosed Trailer
The Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Latch Lock referenced in your question is really designed for trailer couplers to help deter theft of the trailer itself. It secures the trigger latch on the coupler so it cannot be removed from the tow vehicle or secure it to a would-be thief's tow vehicle. A better option for the doors on your enclosed trailer will be with an entry door lock like the Global Link RV Latch Kit # 295-000019. This locking latch kit lets you secure the door on your trailer,...

  • Recommended Replacement Tack Room Door Lock for 2004 Trails West Adventure 2-Horse Stock Trailer
I checked the Trails West website for any available information on the tack room door lock they use as OEM equipment on their 2-horse trailers but no details are offered. But you can just review the linked page that will show you our available enclosed trailer door locks, such as the Redline # 305736 and the Blaylock # BLDL-80. I also included a link to all replacement parts for enclosed trailer doors.

  • Replacement 1-1/2" Lower Trim and Cam-Action Door Lever Kit for an Enclosed Trailer
Thanks for the photos, Audrey! To replace your lower trim we have a few different options, and the correct one just depends on how much of that trim is on the underside of your trailer: - 93-1/2" Long x 3/4" Tall x 1-1/2" Deep # 36290-955 - 93-1/2" Long x 1-1/2" Tall x 1-1/2" Deep # 36293-955 - 93-1/2" Long x 1" Tall x 1-1/2" Deep # 36291-955 Then to replace the door kit we have the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch w/ 36" Pipe for Enclosed Trailers # 305736. • Is The Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch # 305736 A Good Choice For A Wooden Enclosed Trailer Door?
The Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch w/ 36" Pipe for Enclosed Trailers - Zinc Plated Steel # 305736 is going to be a great choice for a wood enclosed trailer door. The latch and hasp can be mounted in virtually any orientation so it can be used for really any door style. The pre-installed pipe makes it an easy bolt on install and it can be locked with any standard padlock. Keep in mind that hardware is not included. We recommend using 5/16 carriage bolts, nuts and washers.

  • Replacement Latch Option For Horse Trailer
Hey Sarah, Appreciate the photo and the cam-action latches with the steel pipe are the only option we have. They will work for you, but be a bit different than what you currently have. You can use either the 45" Long Lock Assembly # PLR3057-45 or 36" Long Lock Assembly # 305736. These come with the pipe, but there is also the stainless steel Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch for Fold Down Trailer Gate or Side Door # PLR3057-SS which doesn't come with the pipe but does require 3/4" pipe....

  • Is 55" Lock Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly # 3057-55 the Same as # 305736 Except for Longer Length
Yes, the 55" Lock Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly # 3057-55 that you referenced would be the correct replacement handle to replace what is on your trailer. Its the exact same thing as the # 3057-36 that you also referenced except with a 55 inch length bar instead of 36 inches like the # 305736.

  • Are Redline and Polar Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch 305736 the Same Thing
The Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch w/ 36" Pipe for Enclosed Trailers # 305736 from Polar is the same thing as the Redline 305736 like what you're asking about. I'm not sure why the name change but it has the same specs as you can see in the linked videos.

  • Is Installation Hardware Included with the Polar 305736?
With the Polar Hardware Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly # 305736 being zinc plated, you will want to go with zinc plated hardware as well. Though this does not include the hardware, we generally recommend using the existing hardware if you are replacing an older assembly. If this is not the case, or if the existing hardware is not in good condition, we recommend using 5/16 carriage bolts, lock nuts, and flat washers. This isn't a size that we carry, but can easily be found at most hardware stores.

  • Is There a Replacement Door Latch for a 2007 Rage N' Toy Hauler
From the pictures you sent in, it looks like the hinge assembly itself rusted through and ripped off. It seems like it may have been fabricated by the previous owner. That latch style is usually accompanied with a bar like with the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch w/ 36" Pipe for Enclosed Trailers # 305736. I think that may be why you are having a hard time finding a replacement. It looks like someone took a kit like the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch for Fold Down Trailer Gate or Side Door...

  • Replacement Latch for Circle J Horse Trailer
If you want an entire replacement latch assembly you could use the # 305736 you were looking at. I can't quite tell from the picture but it looks like that is the old pipe and what you really need is a handle to attach. The # 158-100 could be welded onto the existing pipe to replace your handle. If you want to replace the hasp as well then you could get the # PLR3057 instead.

  • Will the Lock Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly Fit Over a Door Latch
That would depend on several different factors such how much the door sticks out away from the trailer and how much the handle sticks out away from the door.
