The grease cap on this hub-and-drum assembly is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Inner bearing (25580) and race, outer bearing (14125A) and race, grease seal, grease cap, wheel bolts, and lug nuts included.I have a 1999 Kaufman 50' 3 car wedge tri-axle trailer with Dexter 12x2 8 lug 6k lb axles (3 axles) so I ordered new drums (loaded with bearrings, seals, races, lug nuts) and separately ordered backing plates with brakes. Previously I ordered an equalizer shackle kit from etrailer.com and they shipped very fast with free shipping, so i have been a return customer and will continue to be. Great service, fast shipping great prices, and everything works how it should.

I installed the left assy. today and all went well thanks to all the support and videos. All questions were answered thoroughly and I knew I was in good hands all the way. The product arrived packaged very well without any issues. I will be installing just the break assy. on the right side so that they break even. The only thing I noticed, and I don't know why is that the 8 pressed bolts on the hub were a smaller size than the ones on my 5er. I am glad the nuts were supplied, and hope the smaller size does not interfere with the wheel mounting. 5+ stars for e-trailer.
Instead of crimping the wires together, I soldered them together and then shrink wrapped them, then added water resistant electrical tape around the shrink wrap. I figured this would be more secure than crimping.

I gave the wire portion of my order two stars, giving this part of the order one star. I'd give my overall experience with etrailer one star as well. Two main reasons for low ratings: packaging and customer service/support.
I ordered the Dexter version specifically to avoid any issues but I had one anyway, the studs are smaller dia. than the OEM hubs that came on my Dexter axles. They send new lug nuts with the kit but they are not appropriate for my aluminum wheels requiring additional expense for new lug nuts. Other than the stud size they are exact replacements.
had to replace all four drums on EZ lube axles as I had already replaced the brakes with the newer never adjust brake kits and this was the perfect patch. Only thing is this kit comes with the Dexter 10-10 grease seal which has a 2.125 I.D. After measuring the axle seal shaft diameter that was 2.252 I went with a double lip seal GS-2250DL leaving it with a .002 interference fit. My order came in only a couple off days and all the parts were as described and in great packaging.
I contacted James and he helped with with customer support that you just don’t find any more. He took the time to answer my questions and make sure that the parts I needed were the parts I ordered and received. My entire order arrived on the date that they said it would. I would highly recommend E trailer and have already. Recommended them to several fellow ranchers and farmers.
Super fast shipping. Product was in my hands less than 12 hours after I ordered it. Installed and was back up and running in no time flat. Will def be doing business with again in the future for all of my fleets trailer parts.
Bearing races had surface rust. Cleaned with light sandpaper but I cannot be sure the bearings were not compromised.

Wrong outer bearing and dust cap, 1 out of 4 hubs. Had to use old parts. Everything else worked fine.
American Made, great product, fit perfect and the service and available videos made etrailer purchasing a no-brainer.

Love the self adjusting brakes. They work great
Had to use the original hub over the bearing. New ones were 1/8” larger in diameter and would not fit.
Great replacement back up hub for trave ling.
Everything seems to go together as they are supposed to. Had a little problem with delivery. But once I inquired and the rep discovered the problem she was quick to fix it. I would give an A+ to customer service. Some problems just happen. But how you fix that problem speaks volumes.
WOW!!Received my order so very quickly and in great condition. the representative I spoke to was very courteous and assured me that the item I ordered would be exactly what I had ordered!!!

No problems. Install was easy, and product worked fine. The only issue was the studs were a different size than what was on the trailer. I had to purchase new nuts at a different Web site.
