How To Upgrade a Dexter D60 Axle To Use 8 on 6-1/2 Inch Hubs

Question:
That is what I was hoping you'd say. The S\N is 132148248. I already had the hubs with the 2 1/4" seal in my cart. Just wanted a professional to verify. When you let me know which seal I will place that order. I think it will be one of the best upgrades we can do to the trailer. I always felt forest river should never sell a trailer pushing the tires like this, but the floor plan is excellent and the price was great.

In order to upgrade to the 8 on 6-1/2" lug pattern on your Dexter D60 Axle you will need to use the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ or the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 42866UC3-EZ. The former uses a 2.125" grease seal whereas the latter uses a 2.25" grease seal. If you send me the serial number on your axle I can confirm this for you or you can order Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ and then buy the Grease Seals 10-36 part # RG06-070 as well to cover you.
