  • Recommended Ball Mount for a 2010 Toyota RAV4 With Factory Towing Package
For your 2010 Toyota RAV4 Factory Hitch, you'll want about a 3 inch rise. You can confirm this by measuring from the ground to the top of the trailer hitch, and measuring from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. Then, subtract the higher number from the lower number. It does sound like you've gotten this about right though. If yours is a 1-1/4 inch hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar, part # 36063. This will give you a correct, 3 inch rise with a 3/4 inch ball hole diameter....

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendations for a 2008 Buick Lucerne Base Model, Special Edition, or Super
In order to determine if your 2008 Buick Lucerne is a standard model CXL or a special edition, there are a couple of things you can do. If the driver seat is a power memory seat that remembers your settings and your tires are size 245/50R18, then you have a special edition. But the definitive way to determine the trim level of your Lucerne is to contact a local dealer and have them run the VIN number of the car and they will be able to tell you for sure which one you have. • Ball Mount Recommendation For Class ll Hitch On 1996 Buick Estate Wagon
One of the drawbars we offer for a Class ll hitch that fits a 1996 Buick Estate Wagon hitch is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 36063. This ball mount fits a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and uses a hitch ball that has a 3/4 inch shank. This ball mount has a 3-1/8 inch rise from the top of the receiver tube. The hitch ball I recommend is part # 19258. This is a 2 inch ball with a 3/4 inch shank diameter.

We have a class II hitch that will fit your 96 Buick Roadmaster. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" Item # C12009. We haven't had the chance to install this hitch on a vehicle, but it is rated for a 50 minute install and has some drilling required. You can see the installation steps in the instructions I have linked. This Class II hitch is the only option for your vehicle so provided that its 3,500 pound capacity as well as the car's capacity are high enough...

  • Using a 36078 Class II Drop Drawbar as a Rise Instead of a Drop
The drawbar you mentioned is not intended to be used in the rise position and would only create a 3-1/2 inch rise. We do carry a 5 inch and a 3-1/8 inch rise drawbar (see links below) that will fit the Class II hitch. These drawbars all have a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs and a towing capacity of 3500 lbs. Keep in mind that if you need a significantly higher or lower drawbar to tow (you are not able to use the manufacturer's recommended drawbar for the hitch), you will void the manufacturer's...

  • Recommended Ball Mount Compatible With 1998 Cadillac DeVille
Based on the confirmed fit trailer hitch receivers we have for your 1998 Cadillac DeVille, I assume you have a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. Because of how far back this sits from the bumper, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar for 1-1/4" Hitches - 3-1/8" Rise - 11-3/4" Long - 3,500 lbs # 36063. With this ball mount you can use # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball or # 19257 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.

This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs. You will need the recommended ball mount, part # C45522 and will also need a hitch ball like the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19258, For a wiring harness, you will use the # C55343 if you have a Wagon and # HM40565 if you have a sedan. • Correct Ball Mount for a 1995 Buick Riviera
I am not sure which draw bar you have, but the recommended draw bar for your vehicle and trailer hitch is the Class II Draw bar 3-1/8 inch Rise, part # 36061. None of the hitches or draw bars we carry have tapered receivers or shanks, so the only thing I can think of is that you have a Class 1 hitch and a Class 2 draw bar which are not compatible with each other even though they have the same 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch shank. . The Class 2 shank will not fit in a Class 1 hitch, but a class...

  • What is the recommended Draw Bar for a 1999 Cadillac DeVille

Since you mentioned the Draw-Tite Drawbar - 11-3/4" Long # 36063 and it is only compatible with Class II 1-1/4", it sounds like you have a Class II 1-1/4" hitch. If this is the case, we actually have a longer ball mount available. That is the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45000. This mount measures 13-1/2" from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole. If you by chance need a Class I 1-1/4" compatible mount, the longest one we carry is the Curt Class I Drawbar # C45025. This mount measures...

  • Ball Mount Recommendation for Hitch for a 1996 Lincoln Town Car
The hitch part # 36116 is a Class II hitch that has the part # 36063 as the recommended ball mount which has a 3-1/8 inch rise. If there was a Class II hitch compatible ball mount that had a 3-1/4 inch rise available you could use it, but we do not carry one. That being said, the difference between the two sizes would not be hardly noticeable so the 3-1/8 should work just fine. For a 2 inch ball you would need part # 19258, or for a 1-7/8 inch ball part # 19257.

It has a drop of 2-3/4 inches and measures 9-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. It is designed for Class I or II hitches. This is going to be the best option out of the ball mounts we carry.

  • Can Appearance Panel be Trimmed and Reinstalled After Hitch Installation on 2003 Lincoln Town Car
A lot of vehicles have those body or appearance panels. On the 2003 Lincoln Town Car it is not structural meaning that it isn't there to help hold the bumper or fascia up. It is basically helping to protect the metal parts above it from the elements.
