The Super and Special are trim and packages that the 2008 Buick Lucerne could come with. The CXL Special Edition will have a chrome grille and chrome clad 17 inch wheels and a badge on the trunk that indicates it is a Special model. The Super can be identified by a rear spoiler. If you have a Special or Super model, hitch # 36502 will fit.
For a different model 2008 Buick Lucerne the comparable Draw-Tite hitch is # 36309. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you. For either hitch the correct ball mount for towing is # 36063. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256, for a 2 inch use # 19258.
