  • Long Ball Mount for Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The longest ball mount we carry to fit a Class II, 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver is the Curt # C45000. It's 13-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the ball hole. However, it only provides 3-7/8 inches of rise and cannot be used in the drop position. Much less than the Brophy # BM96 you have. It does have the same 3/4 inch ball hole diameter as the Brophy. Another option that may work is the Curt # C45015 that's 11-5/8 inches long. It can't be used in the drop position either but does...

  • Availability of a Long 1-1/4 inch Ball Mount
The longest Class I ball mount we offer is the Curt Ball Mount part # C45025 which is 11-6/16 inches long. If you could use a Class II ball mount (also 1-1/4 inch) you could use the Curt Class II Draw Bar part # C45000 that measures 13-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the ball hole.

  • Recommended Ball Mount for 2019 Mazda CX-9 with 1-1/4" Hitch
The Curt Class II Drawbar part # C45000 is indeed compatible with the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball part # C40001 and the Curt Hitch Pin and Clip part # C21403. The Curt Class II Drawbar measures 13-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole and provides a 3-7/8" rise. It would be a great setup for a 2019 Mazda CX-9.

  • Parts Needed to Tow Boat Trailer with 2005 Chevy Impala
We have everything need to get your 2005 Chevy Impala set up for towing a small boat trailer. Starting with the trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36407 that you referenced is confirmed to fit your vehicle and is what I recommend going with. The Class II hitch gives you a strong unit and will make it easy to find compatible accessories down the line (such as bike racks and cargo carriers) if you ever decide to use the hitch in that manner, since it has the...

  • Availability of Long Ball Mount for 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Receiver
The longest ball mount we have available that is compatible with 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers is the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45000. This ball mount has a length of 13-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can also check out.

  • Trailer Hitch Extender For 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver For Clearance Of Boat Trailer
If a longer drawbar is needed on your vehicle with the 1-1/4 inch receiver you may be able to use part # C45000. This ball mount has a distance of 13-1/2 inches from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole. We also have a trailer hitch extender for a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch. It is the Brophy Hitch Extender, part # hes6. This extends the hitch 6-inches from center-to-center of the hitch pin holes. You should note that using an extender in the trailer hitch will reduce the overall...

  • Carrying 3 Bikes While Towing a Trailer with a Class II Hitch on a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country
There are no dual receivers for 1-1/4 inch hitches but I do have a solution for you that could work. What you could do is use a trunk mount bike rack like # HRE3 which is the most economical choice that fits your 2000 Chrysler Town and Country and holds 3 bikes. The only problem is that three bikes hanging off the back of the vehicle could interfere with the trailer. You could use a longer ball mount like # C45000 to help with clearances but on a Class II hitch you are supposed to use...

  • Recommended Extended Ball Mount for 1-1/4 Hitch Receiver on 2018 Subaru Outback
It sounds like you're looking for a longer ball mount for a 1-1/4" hitch receiver installed on your 2018 Subaru Outback. The longest available ball mount for a 1-1/4" hitch is the Curt Class II Drawbar - 3-7/8" Rise - 13-1/2" Long - 3,500 lbs # C45000, which is 13-1/2" long and will fit a hitch ball with a 3/4" diameter; hitch pin hole size is typically standard depending on the receiver size and a 1-1/4" receiver typically has a 1/2" hitch pin hole. This ball mount does have a 3-7/8" rise...

  • Recommendations For Outfitting A 2008 Subaru Forester To Tow A Trailer
Though the size of the ball and amount of rise or drop for the ball mount will be determined by the size of the trailer coupler and how high it is off the ground, I can definitely make a few suggestions for you. To start with, the Curt # C12038 will be the hitch I recommend. You will need to double check your owner's manual to verify the vehicle capacities, but this will be rated up to 3,500 pounds towing and 350 pounds of tongue weight. Once installed, the top of the receiver opening...

  • Will Loaded Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Rack Interfere with Trailer Towed by 2014 Subaru Forester
There are a few factors that will determine how far back the bikes will be from the rear of your 2014 Subaru Forester. The bike in the last position could be as much as 36 inches from the end of the vehicle to the furthest out part of the bike. You can adjust the cradles to bring the bikes closer towards the vehicle. And you can also use a longer ball mount so that the trailer is a little further back. If you have the factory Class I Subaru hitch then you could use ball mount # C45019...

  • What is the Longest 1-1/4 Hitch Ball Mount You Carry?
Since you mentioned the Draw-Tite Drawbar - 11-3/4" Long # 36063 and it is only compatible with Class II 1-1/4", it sounds like you have a Class II 1-1/4" hitch. If this is the case, we actually have a longer ball mount available. That is the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45000. This mount measures 13-1/2" from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole. If you by chance need a Class I 1-1/4" compatible mount, the longest one we carry is the Curt Class I Drawbar # C45025. This mount measures...

  • Selecting Correct Ball Mount for Use with Class II Hitch on 2010 Dodge Avenger
Your 2010 Dodge Avenger can be fitted with either a light-duty 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch like Draw-Tite # 24871 or a higher-capacity Class II type like # 36448. If you have a Class I hitch you need to use the recommended ball mount shown on the hitch page, but if you have a Class II hitch like # 36448 you can select a compatible Class II ball mount with the specific amount of height rise or drop you need to keep the hitched trailer level and with the length you need for good clearance between...
