Question:

I have a 2021 diamond c 32’ trailer with drum brakes, I need to convert to electric over hydraulic. I called e trailer and they said they don’t make a conversion for past 2009. But I read another qand a on your site that says otherwise. Can I get clarification please, the current brakes are 12.25x 3.35

According to Dexter, the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R1058D11E is compatible with your 10,000 lb Lippert axles. For idler hubs you can use the Dexter Oil Hub # 008-430-03.

From there you will need the Hydrastar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator w/ Line Kit # CAR-HBA16-2. This comes with the brake actuator as well as the hydraulic brake lines. If you don't already have a breakaway installed, I recommend the Bright Way # 3802308.

If you need a brake controller as well, you can use the # RED24FR along with the # 3064-P for installation if you have the tow package. The main unit installs out of sight with only the control knob visible in the cab. The wiring harness will plug directly into the tow port under the dash.
