1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I was looking for new tires for my tent trailer, and all local retailers and tire shops had load range C tires, but I needed to get load range D tires to match what was specified for the trailer. Good product, fast service, tires came inflated and ready to mount on Yacht Club boat trailer. For the price of load range C tires mounted and balanced on the existing trailer rims This package provides load range D tires on new rims. I like the white rims. Brightens things up.

Tires and wheels still doing great, even after thousands of highway miles and rough NW Ontario back roads. Great product!
Hard to find load range D in this size mounted on new wheels for nearly the same costs as load range C's purchased locally mounted on my old wheels. It was time to replace my 7 year old load range C tires and this purchase was a no brainer, fast free shipping with the ease of just replacing already mounted tires. Time will tell how they'll hold up but it's not like my old tires wore out they were just getting too old.

Completely satisfied
Recently purchase a slightly used 5'x8' utility trailer for the main purpose of hauling my Harley. The tires were bias and in decent shape. I will utilize the trailer for my "Snowbird" flight to Nevada this winter and wanted to be sure I was not going to experience a blowout or other problems with the tires on the trailer. After researching different sources I chose etrailer for a complete set of rims and radial tires. I also purchased the spare tire carrier they offer. Great no problems....
I spent a year trying to find 8 ply radials for our Fleetwood Sea Pine popup camper at our local tire dealers. They said they can't get them. "They don't exist."
I went online to Etrailer and had a pair of ST175/80R13 Load Range D tires with rims ordered and delivered within 3 days.

3600 mile trip and they are still looking like new. Getting ready for another trip this fall and another 3600 miles.
Thanks for the excellent customer service as always. I was happy to find a radial tire with a greater load capacity than my camper came with. The OEM tires were bias-ply and were too close to their load rating, wearing out their inner and outer most tread blocks prematurely. For now, the towing experience only changed my peace of mind. Hopefully I will see better than 2000 miles out of these tires. I did have this set balanced, and they required a substantial amount of weight. Please check back in the summer of 2017.

Great! This tire is rated for a heavier load than the OEM tires on my camper. The OEM were borderline without adding gear to my camper. I went through two sets of the OEM before switching to these. This set is holding up much much better. I am thankful that etrailer offers this tire for my needs.

Imagine me with my trailer on jack stands and seeing all the other boats out on the lake hauling in their limits of salmon and lake trout. This cannot stand.

They have been a disappointment. They have rusted, and I would not buy them again. I would surely buy from etrailer, but not that brand of wheels.

These arrived quickly and look good. I ordered them mid August, 2022, and the date codes on the tires were 1422, and 3621. So one was about a year out from the manufacture date while the other was quite new.
My second set for my boat. They've done thousands of trouble-free miles. Never had one leak air. First set moved to my utility trailer, survived unspeakable abuse there, no leaks, no problems. Dependable.

5500 miles on an extended camping trip through 7 national parks and three monuments from Missouri to California. Put a new set (4) of Kenda tires and wheels on my restored 1991 Sunlight trailer and had no problems whatsoever. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I purchased Loadstar 5.30 12 Bias Trailer Tire 5 on 4 1/2 Load Range C . I failed to notice that it was a Bias Ply which only has a Load Range C at 65 mph. I got back with etrailer for a refund and replace them with a 175 13 Radial that has a Load Range D at 81 mph . It was a hassle free Exchange. Of course they deducted shipping on my refund. Make sure that's the item you want it will save you on shipping cost on your return. Overall I'm very happy with the Tires and rims and they fit perfectly. Very good customer service. I purchased this tire/wheel combo to replace my older bias-ply tires and wheels on my camper. I upgraded to these radials because I do tow my camper on the highway. So far, so good. I’ve only taken these tires out camping a few times - but the trailer is pulling great and the tires seem to be wearing fine. I’d also like to note, that I asked multiple questions to the etrailer folks before buying these. As always, etrailer responded quickly and were very helpful in my decision making. This wheel/tire combo was fairly priced, and I got them within a few days of ordering them.
Tires were perfect for the trailer, replaced boths sides and now the trailer rolls so smooth along the drive that I hardly think I am towing a boat behind me. Gave me an extra spare tire as well.

I bought these for my 2001 Starcraft pop up, that fully loaded was pushing the max load limit of the load range C tires, and I didn't have clearance for larger wheels and tires. These load range D tires are just what I needed since they have a 250 lb higher limit on each tire. I ordered these on a Saturday afternoon and they were delivered three days later.

Great products and very good prices on quality tire. Quick shipment and boxed very nicely. Fit on trailer hub perfectly. Videos really helped me measure hub lugs and explain ply difference and load range differences. I have a better product which will haul more.
I will be buying a hitch and wiring for another car and the videos show me how easy it is to install. Companies around here want up to $400.00 to install. Thanks for the service will be back

The tires are perfect on my trailer. Hardly ever lose air and so trilled to have good rubber when I go across town. Really easy process on buying tires with a rim. No waiting at store installer and helped me learn to change my own tire. I tell people even lately about this business and how wonderful the experience has been. I used to have a raggedy $150.00 yard trailer someone built and neighbors would borrow until last neighbor called and told me he arrived with only the hitch clasp. Bought me a good trailer later and updated the wheels and tires and don’t worry about accidents so much when pulling a load. Thanks for helping me improve my responsibilities towards others on the road
