Will The Kenda karrier ST175/80R13 Tires Have Enough Capacity For A 1995 Sea Ray 175 And Trailer?

Hello, I have a 1995 sea ray 175 bowrider with the dry weight of 2,050 on a trailer with tires on it that were st185/80/d13. Looks like tire may have rubbed a little so Im looking at st175/80/D13. the question i have is that tire good enough for the weight of the boat ? Thanks Roger

Hello Roger. The Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tires like part # AM31985 have a 1,650 lb max load rating. With two of them on the trailer you have a combined capacity of 3,300 lbs. With the boat being 2,050 lbs this leaves you with 1,250 lbs of capacity. I am not sure exactly how much the trailer weighs but I doubt you will be over 3,300 lbs total with the boat and trailer. So, the # AM31985 will work great for you as long as you are under 3,300 lbs total.
