Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Peterson LumenX LED Trailer Light. It's a brake tail turn and it's submersible and it's oval shaped and red. So, folks, as you can see, I gotta line it up here with the brake light pretty much lit up. Let's go ahead and shut the lights off and show how bright it is.
So, pretty impressive. It's gonna give you plenty of lights, daytime or night, for plenty of viewing. So, I'm gonna go ahead and shut that off now real quick. And the light itself is DOT compliant. It meets all FMVSS 108 requirements.
It is six and a half inches long by two and a quarter tall and about one and seven 16 inches thick. Now, you will need a grommet, if you don't already have one, to install this flush in the trailer and you're also gonna need a plugin to match up inside of that connection and I'll put both of those items on the screen. Those are sold separately. Now, as you know, the integrated connector here will work with that plug sold separately, but, more importantly, this is gonna be more efficient and durable than incandescent bulbs that are out there. It is waterproof, so it's great for boat trailers and it uses white LEDs with a red lens and that's gonna wrap it up, folks.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
These worked great
Very nice lights bright
Thanks
Easy to install replacement
The lights look ok, but I haven't gotten them installed yet. My main complaint is the packaging, because everything I ordered was thrown loose into one box. You need to do better to ensure nothing is damaged during shipping.
Exactly what you'd expect. Seems to be a good quality grommet-mount LED light. I used it for a mid-ship marker on a gooseneck.
