When it’s time to restore or upgrade your trailer’s stopping system, this Dexter hub-and-drum assembly gives you the right setup for 2,200-lb axles with BTR spindles. It’s built to work with both electric and hydraulic drum brakes, providing the surface area your brake shoes need for consistent grip and even braking. With a 7" diameter by 1-1/4" drum and a 4 on 4" bolt pattern, it’s a straightforward fit for 10" to 13" wheels.

This kit comes complete with inner and outer bearings (L44649), matching L44610 races pre-installed in the hub, a 10-9 grease seal, a 1.98" grease cap, 1/2" wheel bolts, and lug nuts. 1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

It worked well. I had an older axle and had to modify the drums slightly to fit my backing plate but it has been great. I did end up selling that trailer though but the new owners love it.
