This 13" Kodiak hub-and-rotor assembly is built for 7,000-lb axles, giving you solid braking performance even on heavy hauls. The one-piece cast iron construction is machined for accuracy to minimize runout and warping, so stops stay smooth and predictable. The vented rotor design sheds heat efficiently to prevent fade and damage during long or steep runs, keeping braking consistent mile after mile.
Moisture and road salt can eat through unprotected metal fast. This hub’s Dacromet coating shields the machined cast iron from rust, tested to withstand 300–400 hours of salt-spray exposure. It’s a smart choice for trailers that see freshwater use or occasional saltwater contact, adding extra durability without the maintenance hassle.
Swapping from drum brakes or refreshing worn components is easier when everything fits as one unit. This single-piece hub-and-rotor comes balanced from the factory for a smooth ride, with industry-standard races already pressed in. That means fewer loose parts to juggle and a faster, cleaner installation—ideal for both upgrades and replacements.
The assembly includes the inner race (25520) and outer race (14276) already in place, designed to pair with standard bearings 25580 and 14125A (sold separately). It also works with seal RG06-070 (sold separately), which has a 2.250" inner diameter and 3.376" outer diameter. With its 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2" wheel studs, it’s compatible with wheels 16" and larger—making it a dependable fit for a wide range of setups.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Thanks for sharing all the great information and the pictures. It definitely tough to match parts up on older trailers so your review will be helping a lot of people.
