A wobbling trailer can make every mile stressful. This 6,000-lb rated axle keeps things calm and controlled with a 3" diameter round steel beam that acts as part of your suspension system. The slight bend near the center gives the right camber so the tires maintain even contact across the tread. That means better straight-line acceleration, steady tracking, and less sway when towing.
Keeping bearings lubricated shouldn’t be a messy job. The Easy Grease spindles feature built-in grease zerks so you can add fresh grease without pulling everything apart. Each hub is pre-greased and fitted with bearings, races, seals, and lug nuts, saving time and keeping the setup clean. The grease cap flange measures 2.446" in diameter, so it seals tight and keeps grime out.
Everything you need to get rolling comes in the box. The kit includes electric brake assemblies, 12-15/16" x 2-3/8" hub-and-drum units, adjuster plugs, mounting bolts, and hardware. The brakes are manual-adjust type, so you can fine-tune them when needed. There’s no actuator or hydraulic lines to run—just wire them up and you’re set. This axle measures 86-1/2" hub face to hub face and 71-1/2" spring center to spring center, with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern that fits common 14-1/2" to 16-1/2" wheels.
Loading a heavy trailer is easier when it sits lower to the ground. The underslung design puts the spring seats on the underside of the axle so the leaf springs (sold separately) mount below the beam. That keeps deck height low for quick loading and unloading. The spring seats and spindles come factory-welded in place using a patented process that produces 40% stronger welds and prevents spindle failure.
Every part of this axle and brake setup meets CSA, QAI, and SAE-N standards after thorough lab and road testing. The cast-iron hubs are built for durability, and the high-strength steel beam holds up under long-haul use.
