Hello Eric. We do offer a fully loaded 6,000 lb axle part # e73SR that weighs about 136 lbs including the axle, hubs and brakes. Now, we do not carry and 8,000 lb axles, but we do carry a 7,000 lb axle part # e23SR that has the same axle diameter as an 8K axle, and the fully loaded 7,000 lb axle weighs about 150 lbs. Since we do not have any 8K axles I can't give you an exact weight, but it stands to reason that a fully loaded 8K axle of the same length would be about 10-15 lbs more than the 7K axle. So, you are looking at a difference of about 30 lbs between a 6K and an 8K axle of the same length.
