Looking To Add Second Axle To Shorelander Pontoon Trailer

Question:
I have a shorelander center lift pontoon trailer and would like to add an outrigger system to carry the pontoon on the back of the trailer. this mean adding another axle stabilizing the boat during transport. an example can be found at doubledashmarine.com. please give me a list on necessary parts. thanks very much.

Hello Larry, thanks for reaching out. We do carry replacement axles so we may have something that will work for you. I will need more information from you in order to make sure you get the right thing. Just please note that adding an axle does not necessarily increase your trailers carrying capacity.
Mainly I will need to know the hub face length and spring center length of the current axle. I will also need to know the weight capacity of your axle. The new axle must be identical in size and capacity to the current axle. You will also need to mock up the suspension to determine your hanger spacing, spring length and equalizer size.
