Need to raise my deck over trailer deck. Purchased four of the spring seats. Dropped the four shackles, pulled axels out and measured and welded them on opposite the existing ones. Refastened the shackles and installed axels under axels on new sets. Worked great!

by:

No issues with the bearings

by:

Perfect fit as described! Uploaded picture for proof. So far i couldent be happier with etrailer.com, great prices and fast shiping. I haven't had an issue with anything so i have no opinion as far as customer service goes. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

by:

Was delivered just as described. Tech help is amazing. They actual listen.

by:

Great price. Great part and built right. Ordering was no problem whatsoever and I received my order when they said I would no excuses. Again I will be ordering from these great people who put customers first.

by:

The axles that I ordered last year are still working out great. But even better than the parts was the service I got from etrailer. It was so great working with a company who took the time to listen to my project and help me get the right parts I needed, especially coming right off the heels of a terrible experience dealing with bad information and wrong parts from a competitor. Even with some damages in shipping, the returns/ and replacements were no hassle, with most issues being quickly resolved and not even costing me any additional downtime. As a contractor keeping a small fleet rolling, your competency and professionalism have made me a customer for life!! You guys at etrailer will be my first stop for trailer parts.

by:

Axles flipped, and going down the road.

by:

Just what I ordered

by:

exactly what they should be

by:

Received my parts today and after examining everything all looks good.
The quality of parts looks excellent and can't wait to start installing them.
Shipping was fast and arrived as they said.
Great company to buy with.
Will was very helpful and very knowledgeable about parts.
If you call would definitely ask for Will.

by:

Products were as advertised, worked well and installation went as planned. Accomplished task - moved under hung leaf springs to over axle (tandem drop) on older horse trailer, to regain bumper clearance - new truck sits higher than old, also allowed extended goose neck to eliminate tail gate damage, while leveling trailer (nose no longer stuck in air). I would purchase again without hesitation.

Works as expected, Im happy with the product and results- would purchase again if I have a trailer in the future that needs a lift.

I replaced my leaf springs, drums, brakes and added the Dexter E-Z Suspension kit to my Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel trailer last year. This was my first time working with etrailer and I can’t say enough about how well it all went from the ordering to the install.
Tammie P did a amazing job with knowing what parts would work best on my trailer. Tammie also gave me updates on my deliveries that I appreciated. I had a trip planned short after I received my parts. So having someone at their end checking on arrival dates helped. In the future I will definitely use etrailer for all my trailer needs. Thanks again for all the help! Great Team....

Good quality

by:

I installed a set of these spring mount brackets one year ago and I am glad I purchased it from etrailer. I purchased it on line just to make sure it would work on the 1964 axle that I was going to weld it to in order to complete the install of a new set of springs that I also purchased from etrailer. Everything fit perfectly and etrailer is now my go to for all my trailer needs. George J. was very professional and knew the product(s) would work. And it did!

Thank you George and etrailer.

by:

Great product and great company to work with. I ordered regular shipping and they upgraded me to 3 day shipping an no charge. Very satisfied with the product and company.

by:

Product was exactly as described. Used the info on website for location of mounts. Couldnt be happier.
Awesome customer service as well.

by:

Not much to say, they are consistent and fit the axle tube well. Clean welding material.

by:

The seats were just what I needed Last year I moved the trailer
springs from the bottom of the axel to the top when I did I had
to turn the axel end to end it caused the trailer to wear tires out .
brakes to wear out .I am turning axel back and welding new seats
leaving hubs running right. Back to factory only on top of axel.

Thank You

by:

Fit perfect

by:

Just what I ordered. Fast delivery

by:

I am using two second hand axles for my trailer and the spring seats were in the wrong place. They were hard to find because I didn't know what to call them, but I was really grateful they were available. They will complete the installation of the axles and are sturdy and cut perfectly.

by:

I had ordered some parts online to rebuild the suspension on one of our trailers. Customer service called me a short time later to inform me that they were out of stock on some items, they asked if it was possible to substitute some items. She was able to find the exact parts I needed in a different kit. The parts came within 3 days, very well packed, and they fit perfectly! This is the 3rd time I've ordered from etrailer and they have exceeded my expectations every time. EXCELLENT customer service and quality parts.

  • Do Dexter Axles With 86-1/2 Inch Hub Face Have 71-1/2 Inch Spring Centers
Each of the 86-1/2 inch axles we offer, such as the 5,200 lb Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # 8327816-EB and 6,000 lb part # 8327826-EB have 71-1/2 inch spring centers. So what you would have to do is get new spring seats welded on at the correct position, and for that use Spring Seat for Typical 5,200-lb to 7,200-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 3" Diameter # TRSS300.

  • Can New Spring Seats Be Welded Onto The Top Of An Trailer Axle Beam
Yes, you'd just need to reach out to a qualified welder and have them weld on spring seats like part # TRSS300 to the top side of the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e45GR. It's super common to do for people who have an underslung setup and want to raise the height of the trailer. When you remove the old axle you'll also want to replace the u-bolts with ones like part # CE23003 since they get stretched when torqued down and shouldn't be reused.

  • Upgrading to 6k Axle on 2019 Grand Design Relfection 28BH
Thankfully, Grand Design actually has some parts info we can reference, unlike any other manufacturer, so I know that your 2019 Grand Design Reflection 28BH does have 5,200 lb axles that measure 86-1/2" hub face to hub face and 68-1/2" spring center to spring center. We have an option to replace that with a 6,000 lb axle, but the spring centers will be different on the axle we offer so you'll have to have new ones welded on 68-1/2". So what you will need is the following: - Dexter Trailer...

  • Replacement Axles for 2017 Grand Design Reflection 29RS
What you're looking for is an 86-1/2" long replacement axle. Since you will need new hubs and drums, along with brakes, I recommend getting the # 8327816-EB. This has a 71-1/2" spring center length so you will also need to cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS300 to match the current 68-1/2" measurement. Grand Design does a great job listing their parts, but unfortunately they don't include the leaf spring information. You will need to measure your current leaf springs to find the...

  • Replacement For 86-1/2 Inch Long 5,200 lb Axle
Appreciate the photo, and what that shows is you have a 5,200 lb axle that is 86-1/2 inches hub face to hub face with a spring center to spring center measurement of 68-1/2 inches. We do have a replacement with that capacity and the correct length, but you'll have to have new spring seats welded on as we don't have one with the spring center measurement. So what you'll need is the following: - Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles - 86-1/2" Long - 5,200 lbs # 8327816 - Spring...

  • Replacement for 5,100 Pound 86-1/2 Inch Long Overslung Dexter Axle
When choosing a replacement axle you want one that is the same length. Since you have a hub face measurement of 86.51" a better choice would be an 86-1/2" axle. The # e65SR is an 89" axle so it is several inches longer. Also, you don't need a 6k axle, a 5,200 lb axle is fine. You can use a 6k axle but you need to keep in mind that this will not increase the capacity of your trailer. For an axle that is equivalent to the # e65SR I recommend the # e73SR, or if you just need the axle itself...

  • Replacement Option for 5,200 lb Dexter Axle on 2016 Arctic Fox 25R
We don't have an exact match for all of your measurements but you can use the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # 8327816 as a replacement. This is 86-1/2" long so it will stick out 1/4" more on either side of your trailer, something you won't even notice. The spring center is also different but that is fairly common when replacing an axle. What you can do is cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS300 to match your existing 67-1/24" measurement. Also, unless you're dead set on a Dexter axle...
