Question:
I am curious about axle measurements from spring to spring center. Your website specifies 71.5” for my application, but other websites specify 70”. Is there a reason for this?

Hey Jeff not sure what else it is you're looking at. The Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes item # e73SR come with spring seats welded onto them at 71-1/2" apart. This is measured from the center to the opposite center of the mounting bolts. This is one of our etrailer branded axles.
The etrailer item # e73SR is a 6,000 lbs axle with a 86-1/2" long hub face and comes with easy grease braking hubs that have a 6 on 5-1/2 lug nut pattern. I attached a diagram below so you can see these measurements.
How far apart are the spring seats on your current axle? You'll want to match what you currently have now or you'll have to move the spring seats and replace them with item # TRSS300.
You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Reply to Jerred H.
