How to Determine if Trailer Axle e73SR Can be Used as Replacement

Could this be used a replacement axle for my boat trailer? It currently has hydraulic surge brakes.

Yes, so long as your current axle is 6,000 lbs and has the same measurements, if you are switching to electric brakes you can use the Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - Easy Grease - 6 on 5-1/2 - 86-1/2" Long - 6,000 lbs # e73SR.
To determine if the # e73SR will work for you, you'll need to measure your current axle from hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center. The hub face measurement needs to be 86-1/2" and the spring center measurement should be 71-1/2".
