Put these on our new to us '23 GX460. They were just a bit of a challenge to install, tho after the 1st one, the second was easier. But the result is excellent! just returned from 2 weeks of daily running on rough washboard or potholed back roads in northern Maine. 2 canoes on 70" crossbars. Haven't had to readjust anything - rock solid on the car.

These convertors will allow me to continue to use my hullavator system currently on round bars. The drop in feature of skyline towers makes the whole change out a snap. Certainly better than buying a whole new hullavator.

Have been rocking my Yakima rack from etrailer.com for a year now. I am using rack in conjunction with a Tepui tent. Once I added the air deflector, I would say it's the perfect setup. The Yakima gives more clearance over the factory rack, so I was able to get my hands under it to secure the tent hardware. If you're thinking of upgrading your factory rack, I would not hesitate to use etrailer.com

Bought as a pkg for my 2017 Golf R with Round Bars since I had a bunch of Yakima bike racks and a canoe gunwale rack for my old Yakima set up. Installation was easy with good instructions. All measurements from the Yakima site appear to be spot on.

etrailer.com shipped these out quickly and all parts arrived without damage.

Product works as advertised thus far. When you buy the yakima towers, you are required to purchase these as well to fit the rounder bars (I feel sure there are other adapters for other bar shapes). These should have come with the towers in my opinion, and I resented having to shell out more $$ to purchase these "must have" adapters to mount my bars. 3 star overall rating based on function, price. Delivery and packaging was top-notch through etrailer.

Loved the Yakima roof rack system. It's been a year and it is still going strong. Such an easy install and it looks great on my truck. My Yakima Skybox 16 sits perfectly atop the roof rack. My drives to The Sunshine State are all the more pleasurable and comfortable. My cargo area now has plenty of extra space since I load up my skybox 16 which sits perfectly on my Yakima roof rack system. The service from Etrailer was awesome. Thank you guys for your customer service and for selling such great products. I would recommend Etrailer to anyone.

2019 Toyota Sienna
Installation of the hitch, wiring,rear bike rack, and new roof rack towers went well. I didn't set any speed records, but I was more concerned with doing no damage on a new 2019 Toyota Sienna AWD van. The hitch fit up well per instructions except that I was able to work around the exhaust without lowering it. Underbody panel and rear fascia did both need to be removed. Very happy with the end result. The new van is now set up to haul the bikes and canoes and move my log splitter.

etrailer is excellent...however, not too pleased with Yakima and these cross bars - second set in four years...they make them out of a steel that rusts quickly...better out of stainless or aluminum. Maybe that is their idea of planned obsolescence. I also learned not to install end caps...that accelerated the corrosive process.

What can one say with Yakima products and how etrailer supports you, (or me), the customer. The Yakima round bar cross members and towers are great. Supports the weight and very little wind noise. Shipping was quick and undamaged.

If I need certain products I come to etrailer first and even after price checking others they can't be beat.

round bars and the Gunwale Canoe Carrier Brackets on the advice of friends who have used a Yakima rack for years. I want to carry a canoe on my Subaru Forester, equipped with factory flush mounted rack, but needed something wider to hold my canoe, which is 38.5" at its center. This system is just the thing. It installs easily and the towers fit my the contours of my factory siderails perfectly. The Gunwale Brackets adjust with a twist-knob to snug up to the canoe for a secure fit. Once they're adjusted to the correct width, loading the canoe is easy-ever-after.

Note: the endcaps are included in the RailGrab package, as are two cam straps, so you don't need to buy these. At $300 for everything, etrailer has a great price, and the order was on my porch in less than a week. Emails to customer service were answered promptly, and a follow-up email to ask about my experience prompted me to write this very enthusiastic review. Thanks!

Excellent quality bars. I've carried everything from ladders to kayaks on these with no issues. I did have to add the wind deflector as these round bars are a little more noisy compared to the aerodynamic cross bar options. Ordering from etrailer is easy as can be. I've bought several items from them over the years and never had a bad experience. Just like Yakima, etrailer is all quality.

As always an exceptionally well designed, quality product. Yakima has never disappointed me for more than 25 years now. I still use some of my original rack package. etrailer, per usual, had a great price and wonderful instructional videos. Shipping was fast and everything was perfect. Ordered new towers and clips so as to use my old-school round bars (I bought these at least 18 years ago, maybe even earlier) and bike and canoe accessories on a new vehicle (naked roof 2018 CR-V). Installation was tedious, as usual, but not difficult and the written instructions were straightforward. Youtube helpful too but not necessary. Have hauled bikes and the canoe in high wind on the interstate (no more than 65 mph though) on the CR-V and so far so good. Have had excellent results with Yakima racks on 3 vehicles now (2 sedans and now the CR-V) over last 28 yrs. This is my first purchase through etrailer. Very pleased. Good price, excellent service online and via phone, rapid delivery. Highly recommend.

    The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 can fit round bars by grabbing around the crossbar and can fit aero shaped bars if the bars have a channel on top of them. Which the Yakima aero shaped bars don't have top channels so to go the Yakima route will require round bars which includes the part numbers # Y00408, # Y53TR, # Y03536, and # Y00241 and you'd be set.
