The Thule SquareBar Evo Roof Rack is built from galvanized steel, giving it the strength to handle up to 220 lbs of gear. The durable material keeps its shape under pressure and handles the weight of kayaks, tents, or camping gear without flex. The polymer coating adds grip for your cargo and helps prevent corrosion, so it’s ready for years of use in all kinds of weather.
These square crossbars are made for clamp-on accessories and carriers. That means you can securely attach kayak cradles, cargo boxes, bike racks, or other gear without worrying about movement or shifting on the road. The square shape gives accessories a solid surface to grip, adding stability when you’re hauling over long distances.
This kit includes everything needed to mount to raised rails—2 SquareBars and 4 Evo Raised Rail feet—so you can get a full setup without hunting down extra parts. It’s a straightforward install that locks into place on your roof rails for a custom fit and a solid base for any trip.
If you want extra peace of mind, the rack is ready for Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately). Locking the rack deters theft when your vehicle is parked at trailheads or overnight stops, keeping your setup safe while you’re away from it.
The black finish blends cleanly with most vehicles while resisting wear from sun and rain. At 47" long x 1-1/4" wide x 7/8" tall, each bar offers plenty of space for attaching multiple accessories at once. It’s a dependable rack that’s built to handle the load every time you head out.

If you haven't been able to find it, we carry the replacement - part # TH49VW. One of the nice things about Thule is that almost every part is replaceable. :)

The raised feet help to bring the crossbars up in height so that when we haul our canoe it does not hit the top of the car. We are still enjoying the car now that it is accessorized.
