Question:

Jon, I have the side rails that came on the pilot from factory. I have genuine Honda factory cross bars already. I want a roof rack basket and will be using it for yard chairs and other light weight camping supplies to free the inside of suv. Nothing heavy just lite weight items that are bulky. Thank you.

Thank you for the clarification! For a rooftop cargo basket I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket # RMCB. This gives you internal dimensions of 41" long x 30-1/2" wide x 4-3/4" deep for carrying cargo but the real reasons I like this basket is that it's more on the cost-effective side of things and the mounting hardware can be adjusted along tracks to fit crossbar spreads from 21" - 30". A lot of cargo baskets in this price range tend to have set locations for the mounting hardware so it can be a bit more difficult to get the basket to sit just right. Since this hardware is on tracks it's simply a manner of lining it up with your crossbars and securing the basket! Attached is a review video for you to check out.
