Specs

Weight and Capacity

  • Capacity: 4,000 lbs
  • Safe Working Load Limit: 1,333 lbs

Dimensions

  • Ring dimensions: 1/4" thick x 1-7/8" inner diameter

Note

Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

  • B and W Biker Bar for Harley Street Glide and Ultra Models
Hey Donnie, for all three of your Harleys the correct Biker Bar would be the part # BWMC2301. BUT we don't have a solution for the Indian. They only have options for Harleys at this time. I wish they would make options for other brands as this does come up. So to transport it you'd need something like E-Track # e95VR, Wheel Chock # 3481731, Tie-Down Ring # 59131, and Strap # EM59136. Think that would work for you?

  • Mounting Suggestion For E-track To Aluminum Utility Trailer
For your Aluma 6810 HBT trailer, I recommend the Erickson Horizontal E-Track - Zinc Coated Steel - 2,000 lbs - 5' Long - Qty 1 # E19148 along with the E-Track Backing Plate - Zinc Plated Steel - 6" Long x 6" Wide # e96RR. This will save you the expense of the dual track and will allow you the flexibility of plates between the braces or around them. This track also comes in 4 foot # EM19147, and 2 foot # EM59150. I recommend using the E-Track Plastic End Cap # ET8730 to finish your tracks. For...

  • Option to Carry Kayaks with E-Tracks Inside Cargo Trailer
I am not aware of an e or x-track accessory that is designed specifically for carrying kayaks but we do have options for this assuming the tracks are on the walls. I recommend using a few CargoSmart Large Rotating Flat Hooks part # 3481701 to suspend the kayaks and then a few Erickson E-Track Straps with Ratchet part # EM59136 to hold them in place. The Erickson E-Track Tie Down Ring part # 59131 along with some standard ratchet straps can be used as well.

  • Will Biker Bar Fit 2022 Indian Chieftain Limited
Hey Paul; B&W hasn't tested the 2022 Indian Chieftain Limited but it may fit the # BWMC2304. To find out if it will fit you will have to take some measurements. A two piece motorcycle tube frame is needed for the Biker Bar to clamp onto. The diameter of each frame tube must be at least 1.125" and no more than 1.5". Check that there is nothing hanging down below the tube frame, such as a motor, transmission or exhaust. With the rider sitting on the motorcycle, the distance from the side...

The B&W Biker Bar Motorcycle Tie-Down Systems we carry are only designed to fit certain models of Harley-Davidson and have not been tested for other bikes like your Kawasaki Vulcans. It is possible they can work with your bikes if they have double tubes but you will need to know a couple of dimensions, the frame tube diameters and the frame width. • Can Buyers Products Sliding Winch Track Be Used as Trailer Tie Down Anchor
Yes, the Buyers Products Sliding Winch Track # 3371903040 can be installed on a flat steel surface to secure a load, as you mentioned. Since it's designed to allow a winch to slide along that channel, for this purpose, the channel must face down. However, installing it with the C-channel facing up does not affect its functionality for your application. That being said, I believe the Erickson Horizontal E-Track - Zinc Plated Steel - 2,000 lbs - 5' Long # E19148 will work much better for...

  • Where to Install E-Tracks in Enclosed Trailer Carrying Polaris ATV and Motorcycles
Since you will be using your E-Track system, part # E19148, for transporting more than one type of vehicle, you will want to try to find mounting locations that will work for all of them. The main consideration for deciding where to mount the E-Tracks is to select locations that provide access to structural components, such as wall studs and floor supports. These structural elements of your trailer will serve as the backbone of your E-Track system. It is important that the tracks mount...

Sounds like you are talking about using a single E-Track slot like part # SLSB to instal the Erickson E-Track Tie Down Ring # 59131 in a tailgate application like the picture we recieved from a customer who did the same. Basically you'll have to mock up where you want the motorcycle to be and where the best place will be for the e-track as there isn't a set place to install the tracks in every trailer. Typically you want the tie down anchors to be about 36 inches apart from each other to get the best angle for them to pull down. For tie down anchors that fit in the e-track slots we have the part # 59131 which would fit and work well. Then for a set of ratchet straps the Erickson kit part # EM31353 would...

You would be more than okay to run two tie downs off of one the E-Track Tie-Off Ring part # 59131 that you referenced. Each of these has a 4,000 lb capacity which would be more than enough for what you are doing. Your plan to use 9 of the E-Tracks # EM59150 with the # 59131 like the drawing you sent in would work perfectly. For backing plates you could use the part # e96RR. E-track can easily attach to the wood floor you have in your open utility trailer. This is a very common style of trailer that is used with the E-tracks. I attached a couple review videos that show etracks installed in a similar trailer as yours and what they use to secure the cargo. The etrack sections like the part # E19148 would be more than adequate to secure your ATV. If you are attaching the tracks to the floor I recommend you make sure they are secured either to the metal structure of the trailer or use metal plates like the E-Track Backing Plate, part # e96RR, to make it as secure as possible. To secure the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM59150 you need to use the E-Track Backing Plates # e66RR to secure them to the floor. The screws can easily pull out of the plywood especially considering your van will be absorbing a lot of road shock. • Hardware Recommendation for Securing E Tracks to Plywood Trailer Floor
Securing the Erickson E-Track # E19148 to 3/4 inch plywood should be sufficient. To secure the track to the plywood, you can use screws, or rivets. Using 1/2 inch screws would be a good length with 3/4 inch plywood. You will want to attach screws at least every other mounting hole. For tie downs and straps I would recommend either the E-Track Tie-Off Ring # 59131, or E-Track 2 inch D-Ring, part # E59143. Also available is the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet, part # EM59136.

  • Can the Erickson Horizontal E-Tracks Be Mounted On a Ceiling for Punching Bag
E-track can be used on a ceiling since it is designed to hold quite a bit of weight to the track. Commonly people secure vehicles to the track on the floor of a trailer so a ceiling mount (through a stud) to hold a punching bag would be definitely doable. For an anchor with a ring to use with the track # E19148 you'd want just the part # 59131.

The Erickson E-Track system will work great in your aluminum utility trailer, but you will want to put a layer between the E-Track and the aluminum of your trailer.
