Hi, I have a Toyota 2020 4Runner, and wanted to know if the Thule Motion XT Alpine box, with the Thule Crossbars wing would fit on the 2020 4Runner without hitting the antenna on top, and allowing clearance for the back door to open up fully. Thanks so much!

Yes, the Thule Motion XT Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy Item # TH629506 installed with the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars are going fit the 2020 Toyota 4Runner with out making contact with the antenna. The cross bars can be moved forward on the side rails so the rear hatch can be fully opened without contact. The box itself is also slotted so the box can be slid forward on the clamps to provide additional clearance.

For cross bars I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 53" Long - Qty 2 Item # TH711400 with the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401.

Hello Shane. I have the Thule Motion Alpine box on my 2024 4 Runner and the hatch door does hit the box. If I could move the box about 1/2" further forward I think it clear. I have it as far forward as possible. I'm not using the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars, I have an older Thule set with square tubing. Have you tried this on a 5th gen 4Runner and it was able to clear?

@William Since the 2024 Toyota 4Runner has rails that run front to back you should have some clamp on crossbar feet that would allow you to move the crossbars around. To get the # TH629506 to fit and allow you to open the rear hatch you'll need the distance from the center of the front crossbar to the hinge of the rear hatch to be greater than 55".
