Replaces the control unit on your Kwikee powered RV entry steps. Unit wires steps to RV and works with motor (sold separately) to automatically extend and retract steps when the RV door is opened and shut. Fits step series 38.

Great ! Even though we found out that we really didn’t need a new step motor, replacing it was good for future maintenance. Actually, some how the magnet on the door got displaced and that was all that was wrong !
Worked like it should on my 2002 42 series step since I chose just the module rather then the the module and extra wire plug it was necessary to use the motor plug from the old module and reverse the red and yellow wires. Minor modification to save $100.

Exact OEM replacement on my 2009 Fleetwood Discovery. Once hooked up my steps performed like new.
Haven't installed the parts yet (it's Christmas day), but the parts arrived on Monday, well-packaged, and complete. Step motor, and motor-controller. Jon did his best to cross the original "Kwikee" part number for the motor to something having a metal worm-drive enclosure (and hopefully metal worm and gear too), but was only able to get me a "replacement" part. I tore apart the old one, and found the light-duty worm bound up on the nylon gear - and couldn't repair it. Parts from eTrailer were competitively priced (WAY better than Camping World), and the selection is outstanding - AND they have a much wider variety of parts...kind of a cross between Camping World and Northern Tools.

So far, so good. Steps operate just fine, and the install was easy - just a few in-line wire splices to make. E-trailer is always our first stop for anything RV-related.
Finally one that works! Just like the original (when it was new.)

Originally my RV steps were made by Kwikee, they sold out to Lippert Components. I called Customer Service and Zachary helped me order the correct part I needed, he was wonderful! Now steps work again!!!
The step controller and replacement motor arrived within days of placing the order. The items were a direct replacement of the OEM Version, and installed quickly and easily. I highly recommend E-trailer for replacement parts!
