Replacement for Control Module 909513 on Kwikee Steps in 1994 Fleetwood Bounder

Question:

1994 Bounder. My problem seems to be the controller part 909513. The motor will run when hot wired. My controller is kind of an orange color and square not a triangle like some of the newer ones pictured. Will the control module LC363989 work to replace my 909513?

I reached out to the manufacturer who said that for steps that are made prior to 1999 they have to recommend replacing your steps entirely with a new unit.

They said the Lippert Components Kwikee Control Unit # LC363989 may work but it is designed for control modules manufactured from 1999 through 2005 and would not be able to guarantee it will work as a replacement for your 909513 due to its age.
