Replacement Module for 1800709 of Kwikee RV Step

Question:
I have a Kwikee step with controller 1800709. The steps move in and out properly, but will not stay extended with the coach power off. I used the troubleshooter steps in the information packet from Kwikee and found nothing wrong. Controller issue?

Is this a new problem or one that has been always there? If new problem I would assume it's a controller like the # LC363989 which is correct for the 1800709 that you have. If the problem has always been there it could also very likely still be module.
