Replacement Kwikee Step Controller for Part 1800709 on 2017 Thor Windsport

Question:

Sorry to bother you again, but I want to make sure I order the right controller. There seems to be a lot of them out there. You said this would be the correct replacement part for my number 1800709 on my 2017 Thor Windsport, but your part states its for series 38inch and I believe I have series 28. Will it still work? I have 1 step that opens and closes with the door.

There are indeed many different replacement step controllers out there and I am happy to re-confirm that the correct current item to replace your Kwikee step controller 1800709 is part # LC363989. I verified this item with my parts contacts at Lippert.

What often happens is that a new part will be introduced that serves multiple applications, including working on steps of a different series number. Lippert confirmed you need part # LC363989 to replace part 1800709.
