These TorkLift GlowStep Revolution scissor steps stay solid from top to bottom thanks to built-in landing gear legs that reach the ground. Each leg adjusts independently, so the 19" wide x 8" deep steps stay level even on uneven terrain. Glow tape along the step edges charges in just five minutes of light and then glows for up to ten hours after dark. It’s a simple touch that makes a big difference when returning to your trailer at night—no fumbling for a flashlight and no missed steps. The built-in SureGrip tread adds traction so you stay steady even in wet conditions.
Every joint and hinge is bolted together with stainless steel hardware, so each step moves smoothly and can be replaced individually if needed. The aircraft-grade aluminum body keeps weight down while staying tough against corrosion. The entire unit folds up neatly under your trailer for travel and locks in place with a bail pin. These are high quality stairs but the stairs are only 20 inches wide not the 22 inches indicated in the description.

The vinyl riser covers are a good safety product. They seems to be lasting quite well. Would like to have seen them as a standard feature though

Worked out very good as a replacement for the factory steel "diving boards" that were on the 5th wheel. No more rust and repainting.
TorkLift, because when you receive it it’s all torqued! First of all, I should have carefully inspected it upon arrival, I did not. When the time came a week later to install I find that the leg and part of the folding mechanism is bent and a rubber pad is missing (which I subsequently found in the bottom of the box). So rather than return, I straighten it all out, follow the instructions to remove the stairs and install the frame, then reinstall the stairs. Guess what, it’s a 6 stair vs. the 4 stair I ordered, guess I should have counted them. After some internal debate (and choice words) decided to keep them, remove 2 of the stairs and install the landing legs, figured that would save time and hassle vs. the return process and removing, packing, shipping, waiting, receiving new/correct and reinstalling (also have a trip in 4 days). So much for a quick and easy install, in theory maybe if the correct part was shipped and received undamaged. Oh, the box had the correct label TLA8104…………..
Best upgrade ever, because of the adjustment capabilities. Different feet height, deploying in tight spaces, like in storage. In our case it allows us to adjust the first step out of the trailer to be a more natural height. We were at the edge height wise of needing to add a step and we are glad we did. We did not purchase the spacer kit but did need them. We made some out of 1/8 thick aluminum bar and it worked great.
Certainly are not plug and play. Lot of work for an 80 plus year old man to install alone. Gotta er done. Steps feel much more solid than original steps and there are options to use them various ways depending on the site. Glad I got them.

Reasonably well. Could be more versatile to better adapt to the varying r v sites.
I mounted one on my travel trailer and one on my Lance truck camper. Both applications have been exceptional. The step is very sturdy and easy to adjust and deploy. I fabricated a unit that mounts in my hitch receiver to hold the bottom of the step while traveling with the lance camper. It takes 3 seconds to deploy the step (no lifting of the step as a unit and it stays mounted to the outside of the camper).
Great product, install was easy, price was great, shipping was quick, and these steps are exactly what we needed to baby our old knees, especially when exiting our fifth wheel. Had a 27 inch mounting frame on our 2019 Dutchmen Astoria, so used shims that I drilled to match frame...holes in step frame and Dutchmen frame lined up perfectly. etrailer folks were great to work with! Thanks.

Couldnt be happier with our Torklift steps on our fifth wheel RV. Worth the price!!!!
Great quick delivery..Had it shipped to RV Park where we were staying..BUT not every product is a plug and play (so to speak)--Had to retrofit for my particular model. Luckily I carry a drill and basic tools.. Other then that, installation was smooth. I made it a one man operation, and was able to do it from start to finish in 2.5 hours..
Wife now loves the stable stairs...

still the best steps ever- in my opinion better then the mor-ride steps.. these are less intrusive-just fold out of the wy when loading groceries from the truck to the trailer..
The Torqlift Glow Steps are a great addition to our 2013 DRV Mobile Suites. They are a whole lot sturdier and not as vertical as the original steps. I give the steps 5 stars and Etrailer 3 stars for the packaging.
I had to straighten one of the release handles due to etrailers inferior packaging, I ordered the spacer kit also and instead of shipping in the original packaging they elected to place both items in a new box with less padding. I ordered the 25.5" steps to fit the 27" opening per Torqlifts instructions; well do the math but 4- 1/4" spacers do not makeup an 1.5" so I had to make an additional spacer or spend more money buying another 4 spacers for $56.00. Torqlift needs to sell individual spacers.

I added a step for uneven sites.
well made steps, stable and adjustable. Just what we needed. Adapted the mounting frame to a truck camper by drilling some holes in the frame and truck camper rear ledge -- worked well for our application.
These steps are the best addition ever to our 5th wheel (except for the Truma tankless water heater). A snap to use, and a solid grounding.
Great upgrade to the fifth wheel. Very steady and much easier on the old knees. Very easy installation. 1 hour tops

These steps have been on the trailer for nearly a year now and we are still very pleased with them. Easy to deploy and store. Feels very stable when getting in and out of the trailer. Would highly recommend this upgrade.
I love these new steps! They are very stable, and they're easy to use in a variety of situations, just as described in the ads and videos. They are well made of excellent quality materials. And the design that allows for variation in the distance from the door sill to the ground and for use in tight spaces is genius. Thanks for a great product that meets my needs.
In a separate review of the Spacer Kits I used to install my Glow-Step Revolution I detail a minor bump in the installation process that can be easily rectified, but that in no way detracts from my satisfaction with the steps themselves.

The Torklift Glowstep Revolution steps continue to meet my expectations and needs. They stable and easy to use, which was my primary objective. I no longer feel like Im bouncing on a diving board when I enter and exit the trailer. They are also store securely for travel. Great product.
