The built-in landing gear makes a solid connection from the bottom step to the ground, so the stairs stay steady even on uneven terrain. Each leg adjusts independently to fine-tune the height, keeping every step level and secure. Large rectangular footplates spread the load, preventing the steps from sinking into soft ground and eliminating that bouncy feel of factory steps.
Each 8" x 20" aircraft-grade aluminum step has a built-in SureGrip tread that delivers traction in wet or dusty conditions. Glow tape on the sides charges in just 5 minutes of light and glows for up to 10 hours, giving you a visible, safe path after dark without any power source. You can climb in or out confidently day or night without worrying about slipping.
The steps handle up to 325 lbs with the optional handrail or 300 lbs without. The aluminum construction is durable and rustproof, and the black powder-coated steel bracket resists corrosion. Stainless steel hinges are bolted together for easy step replacement, while bushing bearings ensure smooth folding action that lasts longer than riveted joints.
When you’re ready to roll, just collapse the steps and fold them up into the lockable black mounting bracket. The bracket keeps the stairs snug and rattle-free while traveling—no need to remove or store them inside. A simple retention strap secures the folded steps in place, so setup and stowaway take only seconds.
This 5-step assembly measures 20" wide with a 7-1/2" drop/rise between steps, giving you a natural stair-like climb for taller entries. The mounting bracket is 23" wide x 17-1/2" tall x 8-1/2" deep, fitting securely where you need it. With all-aluminum construction and a shipping weight of 40 lbs, the setup is sturdy yet manageable for regular use.

What a great upgrade to our 2910 Palomino Truck Camper!
Installation was quick and easy.
3 step model is a perfect height while camper is on and off truck.
These steps are an incredible addition to our outdoor adventure camping trailer. East to install and they arrived quickly. Very happy with this purchase!
East peasy install if you can drill a hole, or six. All the hardware is included. I was lucky enough not to need the fish cable.
Four stars because the hitch pins that lock the steps to the bracket need improved (they hold it together when you use the steps..they are not great
Our truck camper came with a single swing down step that has worked well for years but as our doctor says ‘as our body’s continue to age’ we found our knees and balance weren’t what they use to be.
The installation was straight forward. We chose the installation option to close the gap between the mounting bracket and the first step. The only gripe is the wire that snakes the bolt thru the bumper. Come on TorkLift what we pay for these steps I don’t think a $2.00 part is going to hurt the profit margin. Supply one with enough length to do the job.
The steps are great, wish we had purchased them earlier.Easy to fold and extend and look great.

Not perfect but the only solution for what I need. I have an existing Torklift bumper on my slide in truck camper. It came with one flip down step. My truck bed is very high and I need at least 5 steps to get in. It would have been great if Torklift made a set of these stairs specifically for this application where someone has already invested in their bumper. Like everything else Torklift, these are over priced for what they are but are still the best option.

Fast delivery. Exactly what I wanted. Easy to install. The only complaint I have is it didn't come with any bolts, so I had to buy them myself. According to the instructions the bolts where to be included.

There is no way to make this work on my RV without some sort of adapter. Not sure why it’s identified as a solution for Host truck campers.

I'm sorry to hear that the steps aren't working out for you, Clay. What kind of fitment issues are you having? These steps are pretty universal so sometimes you may have to do some tinkering or modifications to make them work.
Way too easy to install for this much benefit. My entry is 45" off the ground with the truck camper on the truck. This'll make it MUCH easier to get in and out while on the road. The steps also remain level, although scrunched up, with the camper on the ground. Still makes things easier. A bit pricy but worth it.
I just got them installed and they are lighter and better than expected!
On note, when people order these, remind them to order the locking pins also. (BTW, you are out of inventory for them.)

For ultimate security, add on a TorkLift pin lock item # TLA7509, which is sold separately, to lock the steps to the bracket.

Great investment for my truck camper
I really like these steps. They replaced two folding steps on my truck camper that were always just too high off the ground. They work great and seem to be good quality.

After using the product for a year in Alaska, it held up extremely well in the frigid cold. When folded or extended out for use it was very rigid and solid giving you the feel you would never slip or lose your balance. When folded up the two giant rubber clamps firmly hold the stairs in place for travel. Takes less than a couple of seconds to extend and place on the ground ready for use. I could not think of purchasing any other product. Excellent!
The stairs are great, they work excellent. You want to make sure you mock it up before drilling any holes especially if you are going to install the hand rail so it all lines up correctly.
Received a package with the ladder and the handrail in good shape. The only problem is that the parts package for the ladder was open and the parts are spelled out I think I found them all. How was not using this for a RV as it was designed. How was using it as a egress ladder all my boat from the main deck to the flybridge. At work fairly well with minor modifications that I was expecting to make whatever I ordered the ladder. Enclosed is a photo I love the way it looks without the handrail.
