The landing gear legs on these steps let you fine-tune the height to match uneven ground, keeping every step level and steady. Each leg adjusts independently, and the large rectangular footplates prevent sinking into soft soil or gravel. With a 375 lb capacity, the stairs feel solid underfoot whether you’re carrying gear or helping the dog climb in.
The 3-step setup gives you an easy climb with a consistent 7-1/2" drop/rise between steps. Each 20" wide by 8" deep tread has a built-in SureGrip surface that adds traction, even when it’s wet. The scissor design unfolds smoothly and feels firm, so entering and exiting doesn’t feel like a balancing act.
When it’s time to get on the road, just fold up the steps and snap them into the white powder-coated steel bracket. The built-in retention strap keeps them stowed tight for travel, and the lockable bracket holds everything in place—no need to remove or store the steps inside. Folded up, the assembly measures 11-1/4" deep x 25" wide x 13" high, keeping storage compact and clean.
Glow tape along the sides of each tread absorbs light during the day and glows in the dark for up to 10 hours. It makes every step visible when you return after sunset, adding a simple safety touch that’s especially helpful for pets, kids, or tired feet at the end of the day.
The steps are made from durable, rustproof aluminum with stainless steel hinges that bolt together for easy maintenance or replacement of individual steps. Bushing bearings keep the motion smooth and long-lasting, while the corrosion-resistant white bracket stays looking clean after miles of road use. This design has proven sturdy and reliable on long trips, season after season.

We are still very happy with the scissor steps. They are holding up extremely well after a year of use. Being so well made, I imagine theyll last many more years.

We should have purchased these steps sooner, even our dog likes them, he doesn’t hesitate getting back into the camper now.for No mechanical issues they work as designed. I would recommend a fold out handrail for better balance going up and down, remember we are getting older.
