Replacement Steps for Flagstaff Super Lite 8538BHWS

Hello, I have a 2014 Flagstaff classic super lite 5er - 8538BHWS. It has the stock flexco fold down steps that need to be replaced. The flexco steps are 27 inches wide and mounting brackets on the camper are also spaced 27 inches. Is ordered the Alumi tread steps part #432696. However these are 27.5 wide and do not fit between the brackets on the trailer. Is there an adapter kit I can get so I can install these steps or do I need to go a different route?

In the review video (3:25 minute mark) the bracket attached to the step measures just over 27-1/2". The bracket on your trailer should be getting close to 28" wide to make that work.
It seems like a lot of work, but you might also consider taking the trailer mounting frame off and using the Lippert # LC301704 metal outriggers in thier place.
Since the trailer mounting brackets are 27" you will need steps that are smaller that that.
Finally, the simpilest solution would be the using the TorkLift # TLA8104 four-step pull out steps. The bracket on the steps is 25-1/2" wide, so you would need some spacers to make up the 3/4" space on each side.
