These pull-out steel scissor steps make getting into and out of your camper feel solid and natural. The 3-step assembly expands from 24" to 30" tall, giving you a comfortable climb at just the right height. Each tread is 17" wide and 6-1/8" deep with an 8" rise, so they feel like real stairs underfoot. The self-adjusting design finds level footing even when the ground isn’t perfectly flat, keeping every step steady and sure.
Each step has a diamond tread surface that grips your shoes, giving you traction even when it’s wet or dusty. Built from powder coated steel, these steps hold up to 275 lbs without flexing. The steel construction feels heavy-duty and solid, made to handle everyday use.
The sturdy powder coated finish keeps the steps protected from chips and rust. Users appreciate how tough these stairs feel—built to last through years of camping, weather, and regular use without bending or weakening.
When it’s time to pack up, the stairs collapse into a compact bundle about 9-1/2" x 18-1/2" x 9-1/4". The included 18-1/4" wide mounting bracket and hardware make setup simple. Just clip the stairs into the “V” clamps when you’re parked, then lift them off and fold them up before travel.
For even more support, you can add a handrail (AHR3 – sold separately). It attaches securely to the side of the steps, giving you added balance when climbing with pets or gear.

We are very happy with the scissor steps we purchased for our pick-up camper. They mounted very easily. They are very strong and have helped me to be able to enter without any problems or fears of falling. Would recommend them to any one.
I installed these on a self-built tiny house and they work great. Some campsites you can't get a good angle, but that's not the product's fault--that's the campsite. I have found ease in retracting and expanding the steps with no issues. I don't think I have seen any rust on these bad boys yet. They hold a lot of weight and don't feel unsafe in the least.
We put this step on our expedition camper. It has held up remarkably well, even the finish looks new after one year of hard use, 3 kids, off road trails, and many visitors walking up and down the steps.

I put the steps on the tail gate for my slide in camper. Using Brophy Tailgate Scissor Step Mounting Bracket - TSSB, installation was easy. It all works well and feels very strong.
The spacing between the individual steps (in the horizontal orientation not vertically) is rather large. It takes a little getting used to, but is not terrible.
I expect it to last, we will see.

These are solid basic steps. I had repaired my fold under steps several times until finally deciding to remove them. The RV is long and the steps would hit the pavement on odd road to driveway transitions. These folding steps fit the bill since I remove and stow them. There are fancier products out there but those are just fine for entry to the garage on my toyhauler. The price is right!
These portable stairs were exactly what we needed with my slide in truck camper. In a years worth of use, there has never been a problem, the build quality is impressive. I have total confidence these stairs will outlast my truck and camper. They were easy to install, 1 plate/bracket. They are a breeze to take on and off. I just fold, stow and go.
I really like these steps. They are easy to take down and setup. We normally camp out in the forest where there is little to no artificial lighting so I sprayed some florescent paint on them and they really glow in the woods making them easier to see when entering or exiting the camper.
These steps were just what I needed for my truck camper. Strong and felt secure. Easy to install and easy to deploy for use. Also easy to fold up and put away when not needed. The user must be physically able to handle the steps for installation and to remove when you are finished. My distance for the length may have been just in the middle of the two sizes so I added an adjustment to the bottom to allow me to raise or lower the bottom step by and couple of inches because of uneven terrain. This simple adjustment allows to make the steps level. The diamond plate for the step is slippery when wet. with the wrong type of footwear it is also slippery. I added a stick on surface and now no more slipping. I don't think I can find a better product for my truck camper.
Super easy to instal. Great quality. Work just like described. Dogs had trouble getting in and out of the camper, but go up and down no problem now. Much safer for humans and pets to get in and out.
I like it alot, it was easy to install and it hold me weight just fine. @ 285lbs.

The steps are very study and worth the money spent
Super Sturdy steps that work perfectly on our Shadow Cruiser Slide in Truck Camper on our Chevy Colorado. This are heavy duty steps, well built and rugged. I would highly recommend these if you are in need of steps.

These steps are extremely well made, the only modification we did was to apply an anti-slip spray to make them safer. They remain in perfect condition after lots of camping trips.
This was a great deal as the price included shipping. The steps were shipped promptly and were actually higher quality than I had expected. Very sturdy, just the right height for my new camper and easily installed. I did replace the screws that came with it for quarter inch bolts that bolted through my bumper step. Thanks for a great product and great service.

Well built steps. I spent 5 minutes installing and they work great so far. It's so much better than using a step ladder! I highly recommend.
Works like a charm on my pop up camper. Perfect height and folds up to nothing. Love it. Took about half an hour to install.
Came really quickly and I installed it within within 45 minutes went on easing. On my travel trailer.
The scisser steps I recieved work absulutley awsome. Only took 4 days from Missouri USA to Nova Scotia Canada.As advertised easy to install.Noah, my service provider was fanastic on all details and never missed a beat. Three thumbs up.

I ordered this item and received it in just a couple days, fast and as described! Installed it to my Grumman Step Van Custom RV in about 20 minutes! Also purchased an aluminum railing that was easy to install as well! Great stairs and railing!
I have attached the step photos as you requested. We are happy with the quick service and quality of the product. Our only concern is the large open area from the top step to the trailer, you have to be careful and wee ones with short strides cannot use it alone.
Absolutely perfect. I recently purchased a Freightliner M2 tanker. Unfortunately it was too steep for my dog climb into. The scissor steps made it so much easier for the both of us. I'm sure they weren't designed specifically for dogs but they definitely work. The mount was easy to install and the steps are sturdy, easy to set up and detach. I highly recommend this product
Here’s my review of the removable folding steps I’m bought installed on my old truck.
Now I’m an older person that really likes to go camping/fishing at 1-2 weeks at a time, needed some easier way to get me in my camper that’s over 30 inches from the ground that is stable and safe.
These folding stairs worked out great for me and are easy enough to remove and store when not used.
This unit came with all hard ware needed to install, and directions on how to do the job at task.
Very well-built unit, very strong too. My chose to leave my tailgate on my truck worked out great for me.
Very happy with the fast shipping and quality of this unit and would remind to others as well.
A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for…! They get this old man in and out of my camper safely and stable to. Hope this helps others…!
