The TorkLift GlowStep Revolution creates a solid connection to the ground with built-in landing gear legs. Each leg adjusts independently, so the 6-step setup stays level even when the ground isn’t. The wide rectangular footplates keep the 22" x 8" aluminum treads stable and prevent sinking into soft ground. With a 325 lb capacity, the steps feel firm underfoot and don’t wobble when loaded.
If your entry sits higher off the ground, these steps make it feel like climbing normal stairs. The 6-step design fits entry heights from 46-1/2" to 60", with each step offering a comfortable 7-1/2" rise. The scissor-style frame expands smoothly, and the 27-1/2" wide mounting base keeps everything centered and secure.

Each aluminum tread has a built-in SureGrip surface for steady footing in wet or dusty conditions. Glow tape along the sides charges with just 5 minutes of light and glows for up to 10 hours, making every step visible when you return after dark. It’s a simple way to make nighttime entry safer without wiring or extra lights.
The steps are built from aircraft-grade aluminum with stainless steel hinges for long-lasting, rustproof strength. A quick-release lever lets you pull the stairs out or fold them up smoothly for travel, and bushing bearings keep the motion quiet and consistent. At about 76 lbs total, the main base stays mounted while the steps themselves lift easily, so setup takes just seconds.

I installed the steps on a 2019 Grand Design Reflection 311BHS. I was very pleased how easy it was to remove the old steps and install these new steps. I used the one person method described in the owners manual that came with the steps. Very easy. Being set on the ground will make these steps more stable, then the factory installed steps. I was also very impressed with etrailer. The steps were shipped the same day that I placed the order. I received them in a short period of time. I have always been impressed with ordering things from etrailer.
Well first of all it was extremely difficult to install, but to be fair a big part of the problem starts with my Host Camper! The Host Camper stair mount had some holes in the wrong places, so a lot of drilling and mounting obsticals had to be overcome, with very little room to work. they are almost to bug to fit in the Host stair mounting area. The top bar sticks out to far and I hit my foot on it coming out of the Camper, it is not flush with the bottom of the Camper. The steps dont have any anti slip black stick on material. IT would be nice if they were polished, but they are not. Still they are so much better than the Cheesy steps Host opted for. These should have been standard on the Host, especially for the price of the Host Camper. Also their is no room on the Host Camper to bolt on Torklift the handrail. I do like the 5th step and having them touch the ground, so much more solid and stable. It too me and a buddy 5 hours to install, after I had already removed the stock steps. It is definitely a two man job! I like that you can adjust the angle of the steps.
I bought the Glowstep revolution four step with landing gear.. I could not be more satisfied... took about 1hour to install by myself with the help of a floor jack, that includes removing the old steps..!! Delivery from etrailer.com was fast and free shipping.. great company to deal with.. I have included a couple of pictures of my new steps.. we love them..
Bought a new Lance RV, Model 1995. The steps were horrible. Installed the Glowstep Revolution steps and it made a world of difference. I installed them myself in under an hour following the instructions and using a small jack to hold the frame up while I bolted the steps to my RV. Had to use the two enclosed spacers but the installation was a cinch. Couldn't be happier with the steps and with the assistance from etrailer which is a great company with terrific support.
The entire step purchase was Great ! Order arrived quickly and was packaged very well. The installation was on our lance 2285 and couldn’t have been any easier. After removing the old the install took 5 minutes. No drilling or modification needed , 4 bolts lined up perfectly. Quality of the steps was second to none. We originally purchased a step that lifted into doorway , halfway through the install realized entry screen door needed modifying , didn’t like that idea. Also did not care for steps folding into camper. Returned to vendor and purchased the Tork Lift Revolution from etrailer and couldn’t be happier with new steps.
A quality set of steps. Well engineered. Adjustable to any setup. Pricey, but well worth it. Highly recommend if you are looking for a more stable RV steps with a more comfortable step rise heigth.
Steps came ready to install on our 5th wheel. My husband installed them in no time.
The quality is excellent.
We are extremely pleased with the Torklift Glowstep Revolution (TLA8004). It is solidly built, easy to install, easy to operate, and a suitable price!
We are also extremely pleased with etrailer's customer service! Upon receipt of the new steps, we immediately noticed that one of the landing feet and one of the guide pins were bent. The shipping box did not show the type of damage that could have caused the problem.
I emailed etrailer, and within 24 hours they had gotten back to me and the replacement parts would be shipped shortly. This was all during the height of the COVID-19 virus shutdowns. About 7 days later the parts arrived and within 15 minutes I had the damaged parts replaced.
I am grateful for both etrailer and Torklift customer service. Both are exceptional!
Rock Solid!!! Worth every penny.
Replaced my trailer's original springboard steps that were flexing more and more. At first, I was concerned about fit. Reached out with measurements and received an A8004 recommendation for my 2010 Montana Mountaineer. Once installed I discovered I had more ground clearance than I had with the OEM steps. Not sure if it can be seen in the front on picture, the trailer frame lower than the bottom step in its stowed position. The adjustable top step is an absolute great invention.
Had to disassemble some of the sidings to the left and right of the step mounting brackets to get at the OEM mounting bolts. Space between factory brackets expanded almost 0.5 inches once OEM steps were removed. Had to stop and get spacers. Mounted the A8004 steps with spacers on each side. My wife assisted with aligning and balancing the new steps while I bolted them in. Ignoring the other prep work that had to be done, it took me about 1 hour to actually unbolt and remove the OEM steps and bolt in the new steps.
I ordered one set and they were too small. Sent them back without a problem. I received the new ones and they fit perfect. Took me about 20 minutes to put them on. All in all very happy with my purchase. E trailer has been outstanding.
Took longer to remove old steps than to install scissor steps. One man job with screw jack and scrap 2X4s. Much easier to enter and exit trailer now. Wife is very happy for the upgrade!
Dear etrailer, I am very happy with these stairs. They fit my build perfectly. I mounted them on a hinge and hid my ski box behind them. Very secure. VERY EASY to use these stairs and both my dogs can use them. Awesome . Thanks
We have a unique situation with our truck camper sitting on a flatbed, rather than in a standard truck bed. We sit quite a bit higher and needed the 6 step Glowsteps. Because we are so high, we could have used a 7th step but that was not an option at the time. We added extra long legs, a foot stool and an extra long handle bar to aid in getting in the rig. We also added some carpet strips to help with tracking dirt into the camper The steps have been great! There are multiple options for leveling the top step, the steps have some flex to them but we feel safe on them. We are able to get them in and out of the locked position easily. They were a great solve to our problem.
Very easy install. This is my second set on a different rv. I use these because the flip up steps do not work because of the door style when closing the door. The four step option was right on the edge for fitment but with the adjustment on the top tread it works great.
I was a little concerned about how difficult it would be to install new steps but I shouldn't have been. The instructions are very clear, the included hardware is easy to identify and the steps fit perfectly using one of the two included spacers. They are a bit heavy for one person to keep up while placing the first bolt, so grab a friend for that part. They operate very easily (little effort required to pull out/push in) and they feel sturdy. The quality appears good as well - no rough edges, paint is even, everything square. These are excellent steps!
Just installed today on a 2021 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE. These steps are solid, easy to install and work fine in my level driveway. With the camping season coming up, we'll see how they are while boondocking. Time will tell, but I think they're going to be one of the best things I've done with my camper.
Game changer!!! We replaced our original 3 step system with the 4 step Torklift Glow Revolution. These new steps are solid with no movement. The rise between steps is much easier for my 5’ frame to maneuver. They also make it easier for my small dog to enter and exit the trailer. Start to finish, it took my husband about 45 minutes to remove the original steps and install the new ones. By far, these steps have been the best upgrade we’ve made to our 2023 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 295RL.
We are a retired full time RV couple with 2 dogs. We have disliked our OEM steps for @ 4 years, finally made the decision to upgrade to the Torklift. Both of us have fallen a couple of times off the OEM steps. We have a 2020 Grand Design 303 RLS, we used part A8004. Fit of the Torklift steps is perfect. I ordered the steps on a Friday, go them on a Tuesday. The box looked a little rough on the outside, everything on the inside was fine. The install took about an hour. The old steps came off easy, I ended up using 14 mm sockets and wrenches for both removal and install. I watched a few videos on YouTube and read the info from the Torklift website. The supplied hardware was great. My wife helped me, so we did the two person recommendation of the manual of extending the steps to the ground. I think that was easy and quicker than removing the torklift steps from their mount. We played around with the adjustments to find a setup for our current campsite. We move anywhere from 3x/week to monthly, so ease of use is very important. My wife really likes having 4 steps over 3, and I think it will be easier for my dogs as they age. The dogs adapted quickly to the new stairs. The Torklift steps are far more stable then the OEM they replaced, even with the aftermarket stabilizer legs we installed from Lippert. I wish we had done this sooner. This was an easy upgrade that we use all the time. I do like that that quick instructions are on the front of the step so if you need some "coaching" its right there for operating the steps.
I was impressed by the substantial look and feel of the product as well as the quality of the construction. The installation was straightforward and the steps bolted directly in place of the existing ones. Once installed they worked exactly as expected. Also impressive was speed of the delivery of my order and a name and number to contact if I experienced any issues.
The item was of good quality, look and usability, however it was not packaged very well which caused the steps to appear to damaged in transit. Being I was on a time crunch I had to try and bang the bent areas out with a hammer, or send the steps back and have to wait for another potentially damaged set. I did contact eTrailer which offered to have them replaced, which would have caused me additional wait time with the potential of getting some more poorly packaged steps and them also being damaged. I sent the agent that messaged me photos of the damaged steps, and I was told I would get somewhat of a discount that I have not yet received. I was able to install, however they were damaged more trying to do so.
The stairs fit perfectly on my Eagle Cap 1165! Unfortunately, before I even used them, my wife didn’t notice how far they extended from the camper and drive over the lower step! I hadn’t attached the feet yet but the lower stair and connectors were bent badly enough that I couldn’t straighten them out enough to scissor smoothly. Looks like I need to buy “add a step” to bring it back to normal!

Oh no! That couldn't have been a good feeling when you heard it happening, Phil. Hopefully no trips were missed from it.
