Marker Light Side Cameras

Marker Light Side Cameras

The marker light side cameras are the ultimate upgrade for your RV's side marker lights. They give you the same DOT compliant marker lights with the added benefit of waterproof side cameras with LED night vision and motion detection. The cameras enhance visibility and minimize blind spots by giving you a wide 65-degree viewing angle. They also have detachable light covers for easy access to replace your bulbs.

Infrared LED Night Vision

LED Night Vision

The 8 infrared lights on the rear camera and 12 infrared lights on each side marker light camera produce a clear, quality picture. They give you the flexibility to back up your RV in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night.

Camera with Built-in Microphone and Monitor with Speaker

Cam Micro-Monitor Speaker

The built-in microphone on your camera is the perfect tool for backing up your RV. The microphone allows a friend or family member to relay information and instruction to you through your monitor's speaker, providing peace of mind as you work together to safely maneuver your RV.

Rear Assist Marker Lines

No more wondering if you're getting too close to that other vehicle. The rear assist marker lines take the guesswork out when backing up. This helpful tool displays reference points of objects within your view to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV.

Motion Detection

Motion Detection

The motion detect feature allows you to set the motion sensitivity level of your cameras to low, medium, or high. On the low setting, your cameras will not detect a pesky raccoon until it's very close or already in your garbage, whereas on high setting, they will detect the raccoon approaching from further away. Your monitor will automatically illuminate to alert you once motion is detected.

Auto-Off

Auto-Off

The auto-off setting is a great power saving option. Working in conjunction with the motion detect setting, this feature allows you to limit the amount of time your monitor stays on. Once motion is detected, you can program your monitor to power off after 10, 20, or 30 seconds of inactivity. The LCD auto off option will only power down the illuminated screen while keeping the monitor on.

Quad Split or H Split Display

Quad-H-Split Display

The quad split or H split display allows you to view up to 4 camera angles at once (additional camera sold separately). Depending on your camera setup, you can view blind spots behind your RV or on each side of it while driving down the road or backing up.

Have not been out on the road yet but the install was easy even for a novice like me. My reflection 5th wheel was prewired so it was a plug and play for the rear camera. For the side cameras I used the two screws from the previous light. I put both screws in the top holes, (one behind the camera) as that seemed to secure it better then bothe screws not behind the camera. Instructions were a bit limited(or I didn't read them) on the side camera sync but I pressed enough buttons to figure it out. Picture looks great. Do watch for obstructions such as awning supports which will limit view. I also used silicone to keep the water out.

Comments
I find that i use the rear camera much more than the side cameras so i question whether i would have bought the side cameras again. The rear camera would cut in and out on the highway so I added a longer antenna and you have to make sure both antennas are straight up and down to get the best signal. All in all i get a good view behind the 35ft trailer and would buy the rear again.

The installation was fairly easy. The trailer came prepped for the rear camera so, it was attached and linked. The side cameras involved a little work due to being close to the pass-through doors. They went on with a bit of cutting of the trailer skin. The problem is the right side trailer camera is reading that it's the left side and visa versa for the right. They are both installed correctly, facing back and the pairing button on the bottom. Also when the two side cameras paired they caused the rear camera to unpair. I re-paired the rear and now the right side ( left camera ) is unpaired. I've emailed Furrion for answers to my situation.

I have used for one year and 12,000 miles of travel. I have worked very well. I find that I use the side marker cameras very little. I prefer to have the rear camera fill the screen I check on following cars and only change lanes when I can see the car I just past in the back camera, my car does extended blind spot warning for trailer towing so that help. I would definitely buy this system again.

by:

The system works great as advertised, I especially enjoy the large screen view as I drive RV on highway. What gives it 3 stars is the system only views the three camera screen for a minute or two then reverts back to default rear view screen. Very frustrating trying to park RV when the side cameras disappear and I have to keep touching the screen to get the three camera screen. Would be five star system if I could set the rear camera default time longer. It defeats the purpose of three cameras if they appear for such a short time. I have a 40ft 5th wheel and I sometimes need 10-15 mins to back into a tight site.

The cameras work great. The set up wasn't as easy because Forest River has the plug and play set to the back up lights. So if you do their install the camera will only work when you are backing up. Not what we wanted. A quick google search found someone with a Forest River/Surveyor trailer who gave the instructions to hook it up to your clearance lights. So that's what we did.

We are less then happy with the monitor. The monitors clarity is lacking, and it does not seem to get bright enough or clear enough. It is very difficult to actually see what’s going on behind you with the quality of the monitors screen. We had an older back up camera on our 2007 Lance camper that the clarity of the monitor were far superior to this one. We do not recommend this camera system to anyone because of the monitor.

by:

After installing this over a year ago on my 42 ft fifth wheel the unit is still working well. I purchased a second backup camera to install over my door under the awning for a security system. I bring the monitor inside turn the light on and can see and hear everything that's going on outside the door. There is two different ways you can wire the system but my cedar Creek was pre-wired for it so insulation was easy.

Quick and fast delivery! Very easy to install. I got the new camera’s, headed to San Antonio with them. No question when I need to go around someone when I can pull right over in the right lane I also wired all three wire to the hot wire, turn single, running light and camera hot wire. Very Bright

Super Product, install instructions were a snap, and pairing the cameras was a lot easier than I expected. Order to shipping to receipt was OUTSTANDING!

DO NOT BUY IF YOU DRIVE A NEW TRUCK. After purchasing these I found out it is a known issue that if you drive a 2020 or newer truck these cameras will not work. After speaking to furrion support their only recommendation was to rewire the whole trailer so the cameras could connect to the trailer battery.

Cameras are a big help and not too difficult to install. Odelia at eTrailer was helpful with expediting the shipment so we could get the cameras before we picked up our new RV. Installing the cameras when we picked up the RV made driving home much safer as we were traveling from Ohio to SC. Thanks eTrailer

The order was ordered easily and delivered fast. I have looked at all parts and looks like a good kit. Won't know about ease of installation and operation until rv delivery in a couple of weeks!

etrailer is always great to work with. My issue is with the manufacture not supplying just the pats you need. My trailer came with all the lights, prewired and blank off plates for these cameras. All I needed was the cameras. I contacted my camper manufacture and Furrion, both said I had to purchase a complete system.

- FCE48TASL-07

Lightening fast delivery to Canada, faster than most local shippers. I have not yet installed item, but will install when I get my new truck July.

Delivery was on time and just as important I was kept informed during the entire process. Oh and price was great.

- FCE48TASL-07
by:

The camera system works great. We had some wiring questions on the Marker Lights but the product experts helped us solve the issues.

- FCE48TASL-07
by:

Install was easy everything went well I wish the side marker cameras could be adjusted to get a Veiw of the side of the camper. It would give a Mark to line up with.

- FCE48TASL-07
by:

The 7" screen is a must. Installed on our 2020 Jayco 5th wheel with the prepped rear camera mount was great. The side marker lights were easy too, especially since Jayco had reusable wiring connectors so no cutting wires, plug and play once you pull the connectors out of the hole. To hot, still the Covid mess so we haven't had the road test. But these will certainly be helpful particularly during parking which was my primary goal but having on-road views will be nice too.

- FCE48TASL-07

Easy mount. Great view.

Just wanted to say these things were a peace of cake to install it took me about a half hour to install all three and they work great

I have install the product. It was super easy. I will be giving it a good workout in June. Hopefully I can update with a user review.

This is a fantastic set up. We drove 22 hours over the last week and it was invaluable.

They work better than I thought . Love all three views at one glance, very helpful on backing into tight spots.

  • Is An Adapter Needed To Use Furrion Vision S Camera System On Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
If you are installing the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System part # FCE48TASL-07 on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter then you can use the 12 volt cigarette lighter plug to power the monitor but in order to power the cameras you'll need to run a separate 12 volt power wire from the battery to the cameras with a cutoff switch. The reason for this is because the running light circuit on the vehicle is not sufficient to power the cameras. If you are installing the Furrion Vision...

  • Recommended Furrion System for 2019 Cedar Creek Silverback Toy Hauler
I'll start off by saying that when a 5th wheel or travel trailer is "pre-wired" for a camera system, it really just means that all of the connections are in place for the camera to be powered on when the reverse light circuit is activated. So every time your vehicle is put into reverse, it will activate the camera to provide a feed to its monitor. Additionally there aren't any camera systems that are designed to pair with factory monitors; they're only going to pair with the monitors that...
