Features to know about

Designed for Long Hauls and Large Rigs

Backing up a long RV or navigating tight spots with a trailer isn't just stressful it can be dangerous without the right visibility. This wireless system gives you a 7" HD monitor and one heavy-duty camera to start building out your safety setup. You'll get a crisp, wide-angle view of what's behind you, and the system is ready to expand with up to four total cameras for full coverage.

Why Wireless Makes It Easier

Running video cables across a long trailer or through an RV interior is no small task. This system skips all that. The camera and monitor pair wirelessly, giving you up to 80' of reliable connection without snaking wires through your rig. That makes this kit a perfect fit for commercial trucks, campers, and fifth wheels where wiring is complicated or impractical.

Expandable for Full Coverage

Don't stop at one view. This system includes one rear camera but supports up to four wireless feeds, so you can add side-view or a hitch camera as your setup grows. It's compatible with Brandmotion's wireless cameras (AHDS-7811v2, AHDS-7812, and AHDS-7813 - sold separately) which let you build a customized visual safety net around your vehicle and adapt it to whatever you're towing.

DVR Keeps the Tape Rolling

Footage can be recorded automatically through the built-in DVR, with space for up to 128GB of video using a standard SD card (sold separately). That's more than just convenience since it can help document accidents, protect your vehicle, or even review tricky maneuvers later. It runs quietly in the background so you can save the moments that matter.

Custom Installation

The included camera mounts to the back of your RV or trailer using the adjustable bracket (drilling required). It connects to a 12V or 24V power source using the included wiring harness. Inside the cab, the monitor plugs into a 12V outlet and can be positioned using the included suction or adhesive mount. If you're not comfortable with this process, a professional installation is recommended.

See what our Experts say about this Brandmotion RV Camera System

  • What Is The Working Distance Range For BrandMotion Wireless Observation Camera System BM37SR ?
Denise, the universal Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System # BM37SR system is built for long-body RVs and works with up to 80 feet of range, more than enough for your 38' 5th wheel. It uses a 2.4 GHz digital link, so you’ll get a clean, HD picture with virtually no lag across the length of a large trailer. The kit’s range is rated to handle full-size trailers without dropouts, as long as the antenna is attached and oriented upright on the camera. For best results, keep the...

  • How To Install A Wireless Camera System On RV Travel Trailer That's Not Pre-Wired For Furrion Camera
The easiest spot is your upper center marker light at the rear. Brandmotion's # BM37SR universal harness splices into the marker light’s positive and ground wires, so the camera comes on when your tow vehicle’s parking lights are on. You’ll drill a 1/2 inch hole near that light to pass the camera’s connector through, seal it with silicone, and mount the bracket with the included screws. I've attached the instructions and a demo video for you to check out. What type of trailer/RV is this...

  • Will BrandMotion Camera System Work On 2021 Jayco White Hawk That's Pre-Wired For Furrion Camera?
Todd, you’re in luck since Brandmotion Wireless Observation Cam Kit # BM37SR includes an adapter plate and power lead for trailers that are already pre-wired for Furrion-style cameras. You’ll just remove the Furrion cover plate, plug the Brandmotion power adapter into the 3.5 mm connector inside, and mount the camera using the included bracket. No need to run wires through the wall. Just remember to tape your connections so they don’t shake loose, and power the camera by switching on...

  • Backup Camera for a 1968 Shasta
Thanks for your question, Wayne! There are a few great ways you could set up a backup/observation camera on your Shasta. Since it’s a pull behind, I’d recommend going with a wireless option. Option 1: Brandmotion with HitchVUE Part # BM36TR – This includes the main camera plus the HitchVUE add-on. - The HitchVUE is an extra camera that mounts to your bumper (or wherever you prefer) and makes hitching up much easier. - It has a magnetic base with peel-and-stick backing, so setup is quick. -...

  • What All Is Included In The Box - Universal BrandMotion Wireless Observation Camera
Hey there Greg! The universal Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System w/ Monitor # BM37SR is a really nice system that comes with everything you'll need. You’ll get the 7inch HD monitor, suction mount (temp install) and U-bracket mounts (for permanent install), cigarette lighter power adapter, wireless camera with antenna, power harness, universal and pre-wire brackets (trailers prepped for Furrion), and mounting hardware. The only extras you might want are a microSD card for...

  • How To Pair New Camera To Monitor For BrandMotion Wireless Observation Camera System?
Once the camera is mounted and powered, turn on your tow vehicle and the trailer’s marker lights, if that’s your power source. On the monitor, select the channel you want, then hold the CAM button until it enters pairing mode. You have about 45 seconds after the camera gets power to complete the pairing, so have the monitor ready before you flip the lights on. I've also attached pics on this page to help out. I think you'll really like the Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System...

  • How To Turn RV Observation Camera On While Parked And Disconnected From Truck?
You can, Harvey, but you’d need to wire the camera to a constant 12 volt source instead of the marker light circuit. Keep in mind that will draw from your battery, so if you’re parked without shore power, you’ll want to monitor battery voltage or use a cut-off switch, or even a solar panel kit. For travel, most folks stick with the marker light tie-in so the camera only runs when the tow vehicle is on or has its running lights on. If you really wish to wire the Brandmotion Wireless...

  • Does The BrandMotion Trailer And RV Camera Record Automatically With The DVR? How Much Footage?
Yes, Kendra, once you pop in a microSD card up to 128 GB (sold separately) the DVR included in the universal camera kit # BM37SR will auto-record whenever the monitor is powered on. That’s great for logging your trip or having a record in case of an incident (knock on wood). How much footage it stores depends on card size and resolution, but at 1080p you can expect around a whole day of footage before it loops and overwrites the oldest clips. Have you used a dash cam or something similar...

  • Is There Delay Or Lag In Picture On Monitor Of BrandMotion Wireless Observation Camera ?
Makes perfect sense Rita. Luckily, the Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System # BM37SR uses low-latency digital transmission, so you’ll see a near-instant image, no noticeable lag when you’re backing into a site or merging. That’s a big plus when you’re relying on it for tight maneuvers. The HD resolution also makes spotting obstacles much easier. You can also add up to 4 cameras to this system if you wish. • Universal Wireless Backup / Observation Camera System For Camper Trailer - No Drill Monitor Install
You can. The Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System # BM37SR kit comes with both a suction-cup mount for temporary use and a U-bracket for permanent installs. With the suction cup, you can position the monitor on your windshield or smooth dash surface, then power it from the cigarette lighter plug. Just route the cord so it won’t interfere with driving, and you can remove the monitor anytime. The camera just taps into wires at the rear, so you won't have to run wires all the...

That means you can start with the rear view and later add side marker light cameras Brandmotion # BM47SR or even a magnetic hitch camera # BM56TR.
